Lex Immers has been suffering with a dead leg and it’s touch and go whether he makes it into the team today.
Lee Peltier was subbed off with an ankle knock during the Blackburn game with Jazz Richards of course missing that one with a calf injury.
If they’re missing then Trollope will have to make some significant changes. Hopefully they’ll be fit and firing.

So he Aus he's pleased with how Peltier and Harris played at wingback and yet he puts Richards back can't say I agree with that decision pleased he's kept gunner in the team though we need runs from midfield.

City at Fulham: Marshall, Peltier, Morrison, Connolly, John, Richards, Whittingham, Ralls, Gunnarsson, Immers, Pilkington.
Subs: Wilson, Manga, Huws, Noone, Harris, Zohore, Gounongbe. So 1 change. Richards in for Manga

Lex Immers is moving pretty freely so fingers crossed that dead leg will not be an issue this afternoon.

Just taking a look at that Fulham side, might there be a fair bit of relief that Matt Smith drops to the bench?
Almost 2 metres tall, he’s so difficult to stop from set-pieces and links up with Sone Aluko really well.
Haven’t seen much of Cauley Woodrow mind so don’t blame me if he has a blinder...

Impressive from Fulham
A Scott Malone cross drifts high and wide in the wind but hard not be impressed by Fulham, who are moving it nicely and then becoming quickly compact when they lose the ball.
Cardiff do manage to get a ball into the box but it’s cleared.
An Aluko shot is blocked by Morrison at the other end.
Sloppy
Joe Ralls gives it away with a poor pass and Woodrow drives at goal.
His long-range effort is comfortably blocked but the hosts have made the better start here.

Ralls off and Huws on please
Sat Aug 20, 2016 2:26 pm
Few clear cut chances yet
Cardiff are getting their foot on the ball a bit more, which they needed.
No really incision from either side yet though.
The ref gets in the way of a Bluebirds pass and draws a bit of a glare from Gunnars. Wouldn’t like to be in his shoes...

Cardiff fans have been in excellent voice from the start

Gunnars down
The Ice man is getting treatment in the penalty box.
Looks to be in a fair bit of pain.
Encouraging...
Brilliant vision from Immers to switch the play over to John. Good cross is cleared.
Fulham whizz down the other end and earn a corner.

Gunnars back..
Moving it a bit gingerly bit hopefully he can run this off.
He’s been decent.
Still Fulham seeing most of the ball - both teams looking to find that next gear.

in the 44th minute Fulham substiute 16 year old Sessegnon came on and scored for Fulham.

Aluko with some superb work down the right. He passed to Sessegnon unmarked in the box.

Believe it's their 1st shot on target?

Get Huws and put Fred on for the useless Pilikington.

Allan, No they had not.
City have not had one shot on target either.

1-0 half-time to Fulham

I know Trollope is trying a new system but he needs to get a settled side hes changed the defence in every game he needs to stick with the same defence for a few games at least.
