Great signing for the carrot crunching tractor driving Wurzzels. They have revamped their stadium and are now looking to spend a bit of money to get the West Country side into the Premier League. They could be worth an outside bet. And thinking positively all those South Wales based Liverpool fans can go and watch the red shite twice in a season at virtually home games if they go up and the Jacks stay up, which is now practically a given these days :bluebird:

If I remember correctly we had a ridiculously low relegation release clause on him..... Which was activated . Less than a mil!

We now have a new man from within who knows whose who to hopefully take us forward with fresh tactics and using players ie Ralls , John etc who Slade deemed not good enough.
I think we need to be patient and see how it goes. I can see another two or maybe more players coming in and although id like Frazier here i'll assume that our new manager wasnt interested and i'll trust the judgement :ayatollah:

Crystal Palace fans may be desperate to sign at least one new striker, but could an existing frontman be heading for the exit door?

Fraizer Campbell, who went off with a hamstring injury in the pre-season friendly at AFC Wimbledon last week, is a reported target for four Championship sides, including Nottingham Forest, Fulham and his former club Cardiff City.
But bookmakers have Bristol City as the 4/1 favourites to sign the striker, who started his career at Manchester United before spells with Hull City, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Cardiff City.

Campbell, 28, has scored four goals in 31 appearances for Palace since joining in 2014, although he failed to find the net in 11 Premier League appearances last season.

Campbell is currently one of only two senior strikers at Palace, along with Connor Wickham, with Freddie Ladapo and Keshi Anderson also staking a claim for a place during pre-season.

Palace have also been heavily linked with moves for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke and West Brom's Saido Berahino, and Alan Pardew has said that he is hopeful of adding at least one, but hopefully two new strikers before the end of the summer transfer window

looks like we might be keen according to that

A number of teams spent big last season and they are still in the Championship with us. Middlesbrough splashed out (too much) for Rhodes and got over the line. With at least 2 good teams coming down from the Premier League this year - Newcastle and Norwich - a lot of teams are going to be spending money for nothing. I like our policy.

Unless he is coming here and with the greatest respect F@CK FRAZIER CAMPBELL!!!! He does want to come here and has had numerous chances to come back and this comes from a very close friend of Jordan Mutch who coincidentally won't be coming back here either. He is likely to go back to qpr as he likes it in London.. Can we please move on and support the new guys we got at the club.. Freddy (DAVE as I'm going to call him) will fire the goals we need and make that arrogant tw@t Campbell a distant memory :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Campbell was always in with a shout at Palace, so why would he have wanted to come back. If we really want him I believe we stand a chance. He always gave everything, scored enough goals and, what's more, did the best piss-take goal celebration. Maybe Vinnie the Red remembers that one!

Would that be Pilkington, Zohore or Freddy?

For me I'd prefer Campbell to any of them.
