ALLARDYCE BACK IN ENGLAND

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is back on Wearside after flying home from the club's pre-season training camp in Austria.

However, it is believed he has returned to the club in order to sort out some transfer business, rather than to be interviewed for the England manager's job.

The 61-year-old was Sky Bet's odds-on favourite on Tuesday morning to replace Roy Hodgson as England boss.

KETTINGS JOINS OLDHAM

Oldham have signed goalkeeper Chris Kettings on a one-year deal following his recent release by Crystal Palace.

Kettings, 23, is the fourth player to join the Sky Bet League One club since Steve Robinson was appointed manager on Saturday.

SWANSEA SIGN MAN UTD DEFENDER

Swansea have announced the signing of defender Tyler Reid from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

Reid, 18, has agreed a three-year deal and is set to link up with the club's development squad ahead of their pre-season tour to Scotland later this month.

Right-back Reid joined United from Arsenal's youth ranks in 2012, but did not feature for the first team.

MILLWALL REJECT GREGORY BID

Millwall have turned down an offer of £1.2m from Rotherham for frontman Lee Gregory, according to reports in the Rotherham Advertiser.

ULLOA TO SWANSEA?

Swansea are preparing a £10 million bid for Leonardo Ulloa, according to The Telegraph.

The Leicester City striker is reportedly seen as a replacement for Bafetimbi Gomis, who is likely to leave on loan this summer.

ROBSON-KANU IN HULL TALKS

Hull manager Steve Bruce has revealed the club want to sign Hal Robson-Kanu and have already been in talks with the player's brother and father.

Sky sources understand Leicester are among a number of other Premier League clubs interested in signing Robson-Kanu.

Bruce told Sky Sports News HQ: "We're interested, we'd love to have the conversation with the guy.

"He's had a wonderful tournament but you don't buy somebody on the back of a tournament.....he's one that we're interested to talk to and we've spoken to his father and his brother and we'll see what progresses."
