GUNNERS REJECT GIROUD BIDS
Arsenal have rejected several approaches for striker Olivier Giroud, according to the Daily Mirror.
A number of clubs, all of which remain unnamed, are reported to have lodged their interest in the France striker but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is thought to have immediately dismissed the offers.
The Mirror go on to suggest that Giroud has a key role to play in Wenger’s future plans, albeit alongside another striker.
Lyon hitman Alexandre Lacazette is believed to be Wenger’s primary transfer target after a scintillating season in Ligue 1 last term.

EAGLES TO CASH IN ON BOLASIE?
Crystal Palace have put a £28m price tag on Yannick Bolasie as the club look to cash in on the winger, report the Daily Mail.
Following Andros Townsend’s arrival from Newcastle last week, Bolasie’s future at Selhurst Park looks uncertain, with several Premier League clubs chasing the 27-year-old.
Tottenham and West Ham are understood to be interested in the Congo international but the valuation is high and Palace are not prepared to let him go for less than £20m.

CISSE LEAVES NEWCASTLE
Newcastle have announced the departure of striker Papiss Cisse to Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old Senegal international scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for the Magpies after arriving from Freiburg in January 2012.
But, having failed to help Newcastle retain their Premier League status under Rafael Benitez last season, his four-and-a-half-year spell on Tyneside has come to an end.
A Newcastle statement read: "Everyone at St. James' Park wishes Papiss all the best for the next stage of his career."

SKRTEL ‘VERY CLOSE’ TO FENER MOVE
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is very close to signing for Turkish side Fenerbahce for a fee of £5m, according to Sky sources.
The Slovakia captain, who enjoyed an impressive Euro 2016 campaign in France, has fallen out of favour at Anfield under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. The 31-year-old centre-back has made 320 appearances for the Reds in eight seasons since joining them from Zenit St Petersburg in January 2008 but last term he appeared just 27 times in 63 games.
Fenerbahce opened talks with Liverpool and Skrtel earlier this week and it now appears they are close to confirming the transfer.
Skrtel has been on holiday in the south of France following Slovakia's exit from Euro 2016 and he posted a picture on his Instagram account this week, alongside the caption: "Last few days in the sun with the wife before I ???"
