But I've read this same opinion from you on nearly every Wales related thread that I have read this afternoon, even if the topic had nothing to do with this opinion. So why any mod believed it worthy of a sticky is what I am questioning, far too many stickies these days and half of them are truly inane or half titled to encourage a click. It never used to be like this, can't understand what has triggered the change.

I have been posting too much is partly the answer, which I am to remedy with EUROS and Royal Ascot to watch. The other points I don't have the answers, other mods, here's a hot potato, catch! :thumbright:

I'm not a big international fan, but Chris Coleman and his players got Wales to Euro 16 in the first place when so many others (managers and players, which included the so-called legend but part-time Wales participant from Salford) in the past didn't!

Two games, three points and a game against a poor to date Russia where a draw will see Wales through to the last 16

Several players were overwhelmed by the occasion and the captain was responsible for the first goal, but did people get on their back? Not that I saw anyway. They remained behind their team until that late second goal from a pretty good England in the second half!

Woy was worried! It was all over his face for the whole game! "Where's my P45?", he asked himself and the relief on his face when the little fella scored his winning goal was culpable and there for all to see! ;)

Wales battled hard, scored a fabulous goal through their talisman Gareth Bale (although Ramsey was my Wales Man of the Match by far) and I think the whole team (manager, coaches and players) will reflect on that game and draw more positives than negatives....fortunately unlike many of you!

Let Coleman select his side, get behind the eleven on the field at any given time of the game versus Russia and just be grateful Wales are there and putting up a good show to date! ;)

sorry, I didn't realise debating Coleman's personnel choices was off topic because we qualified  a shame that

It is when you think you got all the answers.

Now now!

We ALL think we have ALL the answers!

NOTE: Except for Rydogsccfc, of course. He just leaves four or five word undecipherable comments that build up his impressive 'post' rate! ;) :laughing6: :laughing6:

Thank heavens that we have Coleman to pick the team and not allow the boffins on here anywhere near it :laughing6:

Some of the comments on here in the last few days have been awful.

Stunning performance, truly stunning.

Many didnt Sven, no shame in that. But the majority of them saw and happily admitted they were wrong when we went 1 defeat in 10 in the qualification process.

This night will be remembered for a very VERY long time. Lets hope people can start to swallow their pride and get behind us fully from now on in.

Got his tactics wrong against England, but spot on tonight and against Slovakia.

He got the tactics spot on against England.

It's not as simple as "win and he chose the right tactics, lose and he got his tactics wrong". You can get your tactics right and still lose, simply because the other team is still better than you, or indeed individual errors that you cannot legislate for costs the team goals. Both of these combined led to the narrowest of narrow defeats to a superior team. Thats football.

If we went toe to toe with them then we would have got slaughtered or comfortbaly beaten at best most likely, we were 7-1 underdogs for a reason. We set up as a defensive unit and tried to hit them on the break and take advantage of any set pieces. We came within 60 seconds of a point, I think its extremely unfair to suggest he got that wrong. Anything else and we would have been on a hiding to nothing, man for man they are far superior. Lets not get unrealistic or above our station.

Exemplary tournament so far, players and managerial set up. That goes for all 3 games. Highest team scorers in the tournament
