The footage I seen riot police were just watching the fighting then intervening when someone was getting booted on the floor. Shocking policing for a country which is supposedly one of best.

Been speaking to an England fan whose out there he reckons the russians hadnt been near the main lot of England fans. The Russians along with french locals choose to pick easy targets of 10s and 20s just having a beer and outnumbering them 5 to 1 in some circumstances even lone fans going to the shops were attacked.

He seems to think the english media are trying to cover their arses out there by only showing scuffles which showed the russians attacking low numbers of english..
Russians and locals being allowed to do what they want whilst lots of England are not allowed to leave areas near their hotel or risk getting nicked and hes heard of England fans getting thrown into police vans and taking a bad beating before being chucked out although he hadnt seen it himself.

A wurzel mate of mine who was over there said the Russians came by the main square where there were 100's of English but soon left. Instead they picked off smaller groups in the surrounding streets. They also had bars and bats and all sorts which is well out of order. It cracks me up how lots of other fans like us, the Irish and even the poles are all hanging out together whereas the pre historic Russians are 25 years too late. They are also gangster types like the old football gangs here in the 80's, they don't get banned because Russia is so corrupt they run the show. I can't see the World Cup being there 2bh.
