Sadly thousands of them are nowadays.

For me you Support your Club and Team No matter what as they are our club :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I am sure many will re-discover their "love" when we start climbing the leagues again :D

Sadly very very true or they get offered a free ticket.

Yes but if they pick the right guy and we push for auto's no doubt the crowds will come back. I'm just thankful for the faithful who stick by this club no matter what ( putting their hard earned cash in season after season )
Because without the faithful financially we'd fall apart

Totally agree.
The small number who still follow City home and away are keeping the club alive.

I can't remember fans stopping going because Ashurst or Burrows became the manager. If the signing of a manager is the the reason for some fans not to attend then are they real fans in the first place?

Spot on, I won't be giving any of the free tickets out next season either. You either want to support the club or you don't, taking free tickets every now and again isn't supporting the club.

I do hope the club continue to do the tickets for the schools though.

Its all down to simple ecomomics of supply and demand. We have an abundance of empty seats but no demand. If everyone on this forum who says they are a 'loyal suporter' and never miss a game actually went to our away games as well, they would be sold out as they used to be, but that isn't happening so it's not just home games.

I had problems giving my season tickets away this season for the games I couldn't make.

Even with all the free tickets the club gave away for the Birmingham game the home ends were empty including a whole row in front of me.

We've been lucky in previous seasons with having a couple of cup runs and genuine pushes for promotion. We've also used to be very good at promoting the club....love them or hate them Sam Hammam and Rick Wright were superb at this.

A good start to the season will put bums on seats, so will a good match day experience.
If you started to watch a film with no plot and dreadful acting you would switch it off. That I'm afraid is the story of this season.

Cardiff City is a business and needs to get its fan base back as it needs the income from fans to keep the club afloat and produce revenue to buy better players.

As far as I'm concerned anyone who has been to a Cardiff game is a fan not just season ticket holders (who may I add have stayed away in their thousands this season) and the club need to put on some big pre season friendlies to try and entice them to come back with maybe some promotion for a season ticket or 5 tickets for the price of 4 etc.
