My ONLY concern is, why are we buying players without our new manager bring at the helm? this tells me that Trollope will be given this job, regardless of all the press and fans demanding someone else.

Otherwise, the new manager may come in and not take to Immers like we all have?

Anyone feel the same?

Because Vincent Tan still decides and signs the majority of our players and thats why we won't get a manager who will allow Tan to do this.
I am hearing the same Trollope has been offered the job as manager and is still thinking over it.

Annis prove that its tan who signs them ? ,there is a transfer committee at the club including slade now as head of football just like most clubs these days have the same system, do you think tan goes and watches games and signs these players ?

But did you want us to sign immers annis

Steve, YES, Tans best signing to date :thumbright: :thumbright: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

So why the negative comments then
By the way tan does sign all the players (as he is our club owner and he has the last say )
But we now have a transfer committee and I'm sure they ALL have a say

Wheres the negative comment? ? ? Just stating facts :ayatollah:

Well your inferring that tan signs all the players
Is this a negative or a positive comment
I'm confused so you say which it is

As I've stated very happy with Lex Immers signing and just stating the facts to a question asked by someone else, Happy Now :thumbright: :thumbright:

If the transfer embargo hadn't been in place there's a good chance we'd have signed him in January along with Watt, the new manager whoever it is would have inherited them along with the rest of the squad. When a new manager joins any team they would look at what they've got and decide what they need, can't see that signing a decent Championship player whose proved his worth is really a problem for whoever takes over. If we'd delayed and he'd signed for someone else I can only imagine the moans there'd have been.

Immers is a top player with 100% commitment to this club since he's been here. I very much doubt it has any baring on weather trollope is going to be manager, Slade and Choo etc have prob had a provisional agreement in place for a while now to bring him here. It's a good move, your thinking into it too much. Just let the manager situation play out and stop with your flapping lol

Totally agree, I reckon they were signing him anyway before the embargo was placed on us, as if I remember correct he came in very quickly after the embargo.

Therefore it would not surprise me that this had been all sorted back in January giving the player assurance that if he made the right impact then the perm deal would be done as soon as the ban was lifted, so was alwaysys going to be here whether it was Slade or not.

And before anyone says what about him saying recently in the press he didn't know where he would be, it's the press remember, they have a bit of a history of making things up or twisting things to sell copy.
