Total bollocks. It was the police and crowd control. Also, if football fans throughout the land in 80's were better behaved then there would have been no fences.
I couldn't agree more Blue Lagoon and the Jury at the inquest also agreed.
To describe Liverpool fans as "killers" is nothing short of despicable.

I for one has seen city fans buying from touts at all three Wembley finals I have been too..Portsmouth Blackpool and Liverpool.

I mean the fans that entered with out tickets. Not the poor souls who got tickets. There were cover ups there by the police no doubt.
After talking to local on Saturday and what they told me about the Liverpool supporters makes me belive they even more responsible than I thought. When they were give they claims to the groups they story were buried and hidden away as it didn't fit in with the groups agendas. The whole lot of them are rotten to the core.
I don't think any of them are interested in true justice. Just blaming someone else. I fear those victims I'll get true justice and be able to ever rest in peace.
I shall not be commenting any more on this thread with opinions out of respect to the true 96 victims.

Yes, I agree supporters were 'forced' into the ground but my question remains regarding the large number ticketless supporters attempting to get in to the actual ground. It just appeared disproportionate but you may be able to enlighten us
Sadly (because of the financial impact) buying from touts is a common theme for all major events and I would guess some fans of all clubs, individual sportsmen and musicians do similar; but do they then try to get into the physical venue without tickets?
My opinion on the failings (and downright lies) of the authorities are beyond contempt and I sincerely hope that certain individuals who created the cover up are brought to book

TBH on the balance of probabilities there must have been ticketless fans.
However, in all these years I have never heard of one fan who has been identified as a ticketless. As far as I know none of the 96 who died were ticketless.
Considering the way Liverpool fans were thought of at the time, the press, the media or the Police would have found at least one and outed him?
