I have and I have chatted to the club in many occasions pushing for itJust sad that's the only way we can get them to watch the Mighty Bluebirds
Great work Annis! If we do have a record breaking crowd on Saturday then urge the club to do it again and again and again![]()

Financially the club is taking a potential big hit, as no one will be buying tickets, so £100,000 of gate receipts could be lost.
You can argue it is for the future, to encourage new fans, but will they only attend when it is free or has a big price reduction?
We will have to wait and see.

You are talking about £100,000 that the club would never see anyway as no one would buy them.
At least there will be added revenue in the ground from merchandise and food.
It just goes to show we can fill the ground. Now we need to find a balance and find a price that STILL fills the ground but doesn't mean we lose revenue.

I am talking about the lost revenue from the walk up crowd and people who buy game by game. There are always a few thousand who do that. Such a big game would increase the amount of these type as well. The revenue for food and drink goes to Compass, not the club. Agree merchandising in the shop would probably increase, but not by that amount, unless all the free ticket holders spent money in the shop (possible bumper day for the shop to clear out this seasons kit?). Hopefully some will return for future matches if they enjoy the day and prices are kept low.
