That's because you are old :old:

You know my thoughts the Club has lost total contact with its fan base. It's ok having the Family stand but that just papers over the cracks.

If they are worried about kids all over the place then have certain blocks within the ground that Fathers, Mothers can buy tickets with their kids.

I never let my kids take any games etc into the ground, they were there to support the team and watch football :ayatollah:

Spot on if my kids wanted to take a games console to a game, they wouldn't be going full stop, but everybody is different I suppose.

WHO SAID ABOUT KIDS TAKING GAMES CONSOLES TO MATCHES???
How has the topic been changed once again?
I never saw any Charlton fans with game consoles in their hands

I just answered it with my thoughts on kids sitting with their parents.

The loyal fan who pays for season ticket for there prize seat year in year out will not quibble over last few games of the season. All children under the age of 16 should be one fixed price £89 per season all three sides other than grand stand - with paying adult otherwise £129 Adults costs should be for all three sides fixed @ £299 for previous season ticket holders and £349 for new - 10,000 x 299 2990000 8000 x 89 712,000. 2000 x 129 258,000 plus grandstand level 3 and level 4 - single ticket walk up cost home ends from £20 upwards these costs just don't seem viable to the club every day running costs so however any scheme are thought of its going to be awkward :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I agree with your system Mallo, however, I would alter the prices to £60 for kids ST with adult then £99 without, agree on all other prices. I would like to see the sliding pricing scale brought back in as instigated by Rick Wright based on league position, reaching a maximum £30 per ticket when we are in the two

As featured in 'The Bluebird' match-day programme, Cardiff City are proud to launch a new Primary School Ticket League...

With health, wellbeing & physical activity being high on the list of priorities for most, we feel it is important to provide opportunities for young people to not only access elite level sport events, but to find role models to inspire them to pursue an active lifestyle.

We also recognise that having access to specific kit or equipment to achieve these goals can be a challenge for some schools, and so this is where the ticket initiative comes in.

The voucher-based initiative is easy and requires minimal involvement from your school. It plays out as follows:

• Select the Cardiff City fixture you would like to make available to your school and how many vouchers you want to distribute based on interest.
• A member of Cardiff City FC Foundation will distribute vouchers to your school.
• Pupils & parents redeem reduced-rate tickets using the voucher at Cardiff City Stadium Ticket Office.
• Once used (post-purchase) vouchers can be posted into our post-box in the Family Stand by pupils. These will be tallied up and will translate into official Cardiff City FC merchandise, kit & equipment for your school (see below).

Game by game accumulation:

10-50 – Free tickets for a pre-season home friendly match.
51-99 – Free stadium tour for a class of 30* and free tickets for a pre-season home friendly match.
100+ - Free stadium tour for a class of 30*, free tickets for a pre-season home friendly match and a player visit to your school for a coaching session.

Seasonal accumulation (based on a league table format):

1st Prize - School Sports Day on Cardiff City Stadium pitch.* adidas, Cardiff City FC playing kit and adidas sports equipment provided.
2nd Prize - adidas, Cardiff City FC playing kit for your school, plus adidas sports equipment.
3rd Prize - adidas sports equipment for your school.
*Subject to dates and availability.

TICKET PRICING
For the designated fixtures, the Club has committed to reduced rate ticketing for one adult and one child for just £15. Additional tickets will be sold at a rate of £3 for U16s and £15 for adults.

I regularly chat to this guy and he was telling me that most of the kids in the family stand are doing other things than watching the game playing on tablets or handheld consoles which is quite worrying it makes me think they have been dragged along with no real interest in the games or football at all. I don't think the answer is another 5000 of these children playing mario kart on their nintendo 3ds all throughout the games!! Sorry but that's my opinion.

I sit in the Family Stand - I'd say it's far from true that "most" of the kids in the stand are doing other things. Most of the kids in our section are fully focused on the game - no mean feat given some of the poor football this season. Lots of these kids play football Saturday mornings, then down the City in the afternoon - so also wrong to say "most" have no interest in football.

Mind you, there are quite a few parents looking at their smart phones, reading newspapers or books, etc...

I sit with my 2 teenagers in the Family stand, over the years I've seen the odd child with a Nintendo DS etc, I would hazard a guess that if they didn't have it with them
Perhaps Dad etc may have had to stay at home due to child minding on weekends when they work all week and pay for child minding ( me 9 years ago!).

All kids would struggle to watch 90 minutes Under 11, whats the problem?

Football is not the sole possession of white, 30 something males. If that's the case like dinosaurs it will cease to exist.

Over the years I can honestly say that through my taking of my kids and my dad taking me prior to that, we have by taking friends, introduced 20+ teenagers to the family of being a bluebird.

What ever it takes. Do it.

They are listening, Tan mentioned it, if there's deals and deals everywhere then what's the point of being a season ticket holder? Can't just keep offering deals to everyone. There's been plenty of games where a kid can go for a quid.

We had a whale of a time with plastic fans when we was in the Prem. If they don't want to come fair enough to bribe them they can fook off.
