Fully believe that Tan will clear the debt as promised - he would not say that he is and then change his mind as he would lose "face".

Pity that someone else who "loves" our club could not "write off" what we owed him

I believe Langston were to be paid £5m within 30 days? If my memory is right the agreement was struck on 26th January meaning 19 days have past leaving another 11 days before any promises have been broken. Vinney has always maintained that the debt to equity will happen once Langston have been paid off.

Personally having not settled a bill of £5m recently I'm not sure what is involved in transferring such a large amount of cash. I assume that is the reason for some of the delay or it's the old trick of paying bills at the last moment so you benefit from the interests rather than the recipient.

Moving on becoming debt free is just the start as we have to trade profitably from now on due to FFP. it is more vital now than ever before to get bums on seats at CCS so we can boost revenue just to stay competitive in the Championship. That is why it is so important that the mistakes of the past are forgiven and we move on together to make a success of this brilliant club.

If I were Tan I'd make sure that none of the money was paid until the 30th day.

Then I'd hand over the £5m in one pence pieces.

Or perhaps a cheque made payable to "Sam Hammam".

A large % of fans only went along with the rebrand due the equity promise. If he does do it now I will give him some credit for sure, it's a right shame what occurred but he admits he was badly advised. We could have easily gone under at quite a few points in recent times. I still don't thing all the fans will return, some are very stubborn and won't forgive him, for every gunman there is a wez or a Gwyn hey......

Mike, at this moment they are promises not actioned.

I hope they turn into action and are fully actioned.

I don't know Carl, but I can't see where he is club bashing. As far as I can see he has just stated some obvious facts. We all hope that Tan's announcement comes to fruition, but as the poster says. we've been here plenty of times before only to be let down. Understandable to treat anything that comes out of the club with caution.

It beggars belief that it can be construed as club bashing.

Agree not club bashing but it is a bit negative again as it can be taken as implying or suggesting (whatever word you want to use) that he will not do as he he stated last week re debt to equity. Surely better to post when/if it was actually confirmed that Tan had broken his promise

When has he failed to deliver ? He said once Langston is sorted and now finally it is plans are in place

Why would Tan go through all the effort to organise a Q&A and to give false promises? I think he means it this time.
