Vincent Tan to hold talks with Cardiff City fans as he flies to UK for rare visit
Representatives from Cardiff City Supporters' Trust have been invited by the club to hold talks with the Malaysian billionaire
Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan will meet with supporters on Thursday as he makes a rare visit to the UK.
Tan flies in tomorrow and will be at the Bluebirds' game with Charlton on Saturday.
Representatives from Cardiff City Supporters' Trust have been invited by the club to hold talks with the Malaysian billionaire, who will travel to the Welsh capital as part of his visit.
Tan's plans on converting debt to equity and his long-term commitment to the club are sure to be top of the agenda, while the future of manager Russell Slade is another burning issue.
Meeting with Vincent Tan
The Trust and the Cardiff Supporters Club has been invited to a meeting with the club's major shareholder Vincent Tan tomorrow lunchtime.
Just had an email from the Trust - questions invited for a meeting with Vinnie boy tomorrow.
No other info.
Trust reps and Cardiff Supporters club meeting Vincent Tan and with others 2morrow,Trust members can email questions by 5pm.

Agree.
Terrible and well documented mistakes were made. It's time to move on.
Add my agreement also.
ThomasC attitude is typical of what is holding this club back. If apologises are required then the supporters can start by saying sorry for the awful personal abuse directed at Tan at the meeting tomorrow.
The bigger picture is Cardiff City Football Club and always has been. It helps no one by bleating on about 'personal' hurt when the club's future is at risk. The rebrand is now a notable historical mistake which has been put right. Time to grow up and put the club first.
Are you people for real? Tan binned our identity, destroyed our fanbase, ruined the Club financially with terrible decisions and built a white elephant stand. In short, he made just about every blunder he could make while showing utter contempt for you and you still want to let bygones be bygones? If he's not gonna make the Club debt free as he duped you into believing he would, run him out of town and take the consequences. Don't you have any pride and dignity at all?
The Voice of Reason be fucked.Last time I looked Sam Hamman is the only one with something to smile about. Our fanbase is at a historical average, financial outlook is better than before he became involved. Its really easy to be scathing about the debt when your answer is about spending someone elses money.

Can I just say that the only bit I posted when I started this post this morning was this -
"Meeting with Vincent Tan

I understand now it's been 'updated' but not by me - I'd prefer my entry to remain as it was, as I made no reference to debt to equity or anything else. It isn't clear that it isn't me who has updated the post with other statements that I don't know anything about.
If whoever updated the post can state where the source for the rest of the post is from then I'd be delighted to learn that.
Thanks...Jimmy

I can confirm its Mike Roderick, who was on the trust for a while, we then never agreedbut still Respected him.
But I will say this Mike, has only ever had one name on here and says it how he feels, also very very loyal City fan, stood by his morals never went to a City game when we were Red and returned when we went back to Blue and he's entitled to his opinion![]()

Saved us from administration still an even bigger prick!
What else do you want him to do? We need a truce once and for all for the good for our club, to look for a hopefully brighter future!
Yes the man has made a massive mistake in the past by the rebranding but he is trying to get back on the fans side now and looking to do the best for us fans and now the club! Let's just stop the Tan hating for now and wait and see what happens next!
Wow! I didn't realise that hating Tan made you "anti club" too.
Some may argue it's the Tan lovers who are "anti club" judging by the complete bollocks and circus he's made of his dictatorship sorry, reign, so far.
Dictatorship lol he's the owner just like all previous owners before him he's acted no different but he's bank rolled us more and already written off over 20 million pounds and paid all our creditors off already during his dictatorship as you put it
"Acted no different" to other owners before him.......have you been living on the moon for the last 5 years?![]()
"Bank rolled us" you mean put us about 5 times more in debt than before he arrived.
5 times more debt lol come on he's added 100 more million to the debt was 63 million when he came so it's not 5 times so if he converts more debt to equity will you be happy
I'll hold my hands up if I'm wrong but the debt was about 28 million surely?
In May 2014 the club stated Tan had put in over 150 million.
Don't see how it could only be £28 million ffs we owed Langston £24 million ,and Paul guy and mike hall about £9million didn't we
Why do people come on here posting shit amounts they no nothing about
The debt was 63 million when tan took over all those creditors are now paid up
Didn't steve say why do people come on here posting shit amounts they no nothing about![]()

Our home crowds most week are now in the bottom 2 or 3 and our away support in the bottom 5 of the Championship and that really hurts to see![]()

As to the Debt.
When Sam left the debt £30 mill with assets worth more than that, when the Riddler left it was about £63mill,then during the Tan reign of 6 years the debt got between £150mill to £160mill including destroyinag the Soul of our club and its fan base![]()

But I believe it now could be as low £70-£80mill after 6 years of running our club, so in fact we are still worse off and have a fan base smashed to pieces, which what ever way Wez will turn it,the facts are there when you go to home and away games following City.
That's my last word on the matter.
The ground last Saturday 30 mins in to the game.
