David, I believe he won't stay even if asked, the pressure has been to much for him.
He would also do a good job for clubs like Rotherham and he's actually done a better job than I ever thought he would for us :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Outside of this club, he will have earned himself a great deal of credibility

He won't struggle to get a club in the championship now.

Clubs will look at where we are in the table and the funds he's had to succeed.

They'll also look at his signings , would you honestly give him funds ?

Would I give him funds at Cardiff do you mean? No, I'd employ an experienced championship manager with a record of getting clubs promoted. Like I've said all year, keep him till the end of the season and move forward with a new manager.

I believe we're still in a very precarious position considering the way our club is run.

What I'm saying is that there's plenty of smaller clubs with smaller funds in the championship who would now be happy be happy to employ slade, in my opinion.

Personally I don't think our club will have much funds for any manager next year unless we go up, I think we'll still need cutbacks to comply with the fair play rules, so a lot will come down to how many more we get rid of.

Have you all forgotten that we currently play shit football with a lower excitement level than a coldplay gig ?

Whilst I genuinely feel that Slade has not been appreciated for the shitty position that he is in.
No control over who comes and goes, no budget, loathed by man before I started (as not a big name)
Etc

The fact is, he's not Cardiff. We haven't taken to him and we can't follow him.

We need a leader
A galvaniser
A footballer

Good luck to Slade. A hard working honest guy who has done well with what he has had.

Although a leader and inspiring manager, may get that extra 5% out of the players and fans to help consistency and atmosphere

I agree, there's still lots of work to be done meaning ANY manager that comes in will be under similar restrictions.

And some want Bellamy in on his first job working under these conditions, it's a huge risk and imo one that wouldn't be worth it.

Slade would get massively found out at a club like Rotherham. People go on about our budget like its Blackpools last year.

He might not have spent much with us (thank f**k) but he wouldn't inherit the squad of players at a small club like he's inherited here.

Slades lucky he's got some very decent players here. Even after the cuts its one of the best squads in the division after the big spending 4.

If Slade makes us perform like we have these last couple of games then I would want him to stay people who say otherwise are stubborn.

Slade doesn't know how to play anything else only 4 4 2

We used to get beaten second half as teams changed their system to beat his 4 4 2 and worked most times

Leicester pkay 442

Agreed. If we play at the usual level of rubbish on Saturday, then it'll be back to :sladeout: again.

Can't wait to see the back of him hope he don't get a new deal I just fear the next manager that Tan and his staff choose there's been Malky who blew money for fun then the calamitous Solskjaer followed by Slade they really haven't got a clue on a good manager I think we could do really well with a decent manager in the dugout

Slade has done himself the world of good I think, he's steadied the ship and made Cardiff still compete but at a lower cost.

Although now he has done that I don't see him tactically good enough to take us to the next level, but he has made a very steady championship team for whoever takes over after him.

I know in general he plays bland and boring football but he has done the job he was asked. :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:
