Na not having that mate Wales rugby could have a test against let's say Australia or South Africa the big stadium would still be a sell out. So it isn't just because it's the six nations.
But a test against say Canada and the stadium wouldn't be sold out. It's not just about playing the big teams mate.
Why you not accepting that rugby in Wales pulls a bigger crowd than football in Wales it's a fact it's not made up its the truth, f**k me thick or what.

Because we don't play there now? So cannot say wether last thew games would have! Suspect they would have sold out though?
Under Mark Hughes we sold out the Millenium Stadium v Serbia, Finland and Azerbaijan. I think some of these on this thread have not been football fans for long.
So if we played Brazil in the big stadium tomorrow it would be a sell out would it? f**k off who you kidding it would be half empty and you know it.

You know full well it would be sold out you are being arguementative to the extreme! If you think it would be half empty I suggest you know nothing about football fans?

Was thinking the same thing myself. It depends who the opposition are as far as crowds are concerned. If the rugby team were playing the USA or Canada or someone similar there is no way it would be sold out. If the football team were playing Germany or Italy in a qualifying match, it would be sold out as has been proven in the past. As far as sport in general is concerned, Cardiff football and rugby shared a ground not so long back. Who were getting the big gates when that was happening, and who were playing to almost an empty stadium.

No, we are talking about Wales being a rugby country and why the Welsh don't get behind their football. Anyone with half a brain can see that Wales is no more a rugby country than it is football. Go into any school in Wales on a Monday morning and listen to what the kids are discussing when it comes it sport. Check out how many are watching Cardiff City & Swansea City and how many watch the Ospreys and the Blues. Wales are a rugby country for maybe 4 or 5 weekends in a year. What about all the other weekends.

ccfc28 - you are right in everything you said - I prefer football but I also watch the rugby - Rugby fills the millennium and football doesn't - the last time Wales footy filled the milstad it was cheap ticket deals, hate to agree but I agree

Everybody knows rugby international draws a bigger audience. Where the idiot fucked up is when he said we could never fill the millennium for the football. We have a good few times, 4 times when I've been there and not cheap tickets either.
