Bellamy said in his book he would take some years out to learn before management and then go to the lower leagues.

Of course malky wouldn't be in his top 6, he has worked under proper managers.

it was before ole came in probably and he said it was temporary, although i think he had a little dig at malky when he said i been with managers who sent players to train with kids, then called them back due to an injury, im sure a few players previously said malky did this to them.

He's been quite active, in this regard. Think he's spent time at a fair few clubs on the continent, seeing how they operate?

And that's something he deserves respect for, I think. People will talk about his arrogance and such, but when it comes to management I think he's always been very honest about what he'd need to do if ever he was going to make a success of that.

With a slightly older head coach of his choice in with him I reckon he would be ideal. Fans around here like passion, we have none of that currently. It would re ignite things I reckon, needs to happen soon else the habit that 1000's have currently dropped intentionally won't return ever.

If we were to take a punt on a manager then Bellamy has to be that man. He'd get the best out of players and would lead and inspire by example. It excites me to think that he'd be Cardiff City's manager in the summer but concerns me that he may go to another club for then to get the best of him. At least we're doing the right thing by keeping him close to us. The lad's certainly got his head screwed on.

To be honest why wait until the Summer?

Do it now.

He would have ZERO expectations for the rest of this season and allow him time to introduce his style of play, his own coaching staff and own 'flavour' with no pressure. He could look at the youngsters and how well they would cope with being a part of the first team and start drawing up plans for summer - preseason and transfer.

Even next season the expectations would still be relatively low, plays-offs perhaps, on the basis Bellamy would be 'rebuilding' the footballing side of things.

Getting him in the summer rather than now

Of course recently he may again have rejected us completely or told us to wait.

The club also may not be that interested in him coming on board as he would be demanding total control over the footballing side of things including tactics, team selection, transfers and coaching... quite rightly. You honestly believe we have a chairman that would allow a manager to work under those conditions????

Sadly I doubt it which makes be believe Bellamy is unlikely to come on board while Tan is in charge unless Tan has another turn around.

Because he's determined to complete his 2 years break from the game
