Not saying I think hes the answer as a coach but then ive never seen him coaching either.
However, wether you think hes up to the job or not some of the comments directed towards him are disgraceful considering what he gave this club as a player.
I can only assume these comments are made by newbies or people with alzheimers. If not then hang your heads in shame.
So its OK for you to slag Slade but not your beloved Valley boy.
Young is not a a Cardiff City player, if he wants to be remember fondly he should leave.
If he wants to be respected ad a coach he should leave. All signs point to the exit door,
Slade isnt one of our own and Cardiff City through and through

I think you will find I have never criticised Young as a person, I don't know him personally, I have criticised his ability as a coach, which as a paying customer I'm untitled to
You have made several infantile comments towards Young and then cry cos you got named as one his critics.
Hypocrite
I'm afraid your going to have to show me postings where I have made personal comments about Young as a person, if you can't then I suggest we agree to disagree before you become personal

No preaching I just think the guys deserves a bit more respect given his history with the club.
Would you cut Julian Dicks more slack than Sam Allardyce? of course you would.

I grew up watching Young, standing in the rain, passionately supporting our club while battling the lower leagues and I loved it! I respect him for what he has done on the field he is like most fans Cardiff through and through.
However we have come a long way since... Young never graced the championship and certainly not the Premiership as a player nor as a coach/assistant manager. I don't see any problem with fans expressing their frustration. We have Young who last coached at Port Talbot and Slade a manager sent out on gardening leave by a lower division club, who learnt his trade as a High school PE teacher. These are hard facts.
I think what we have sought to achieve here is the same impact as say Julian Dickson of West Ham but he has played at the top and been exposed to premier League tactics, training etc....
If Young truly wants the best for Cardiff he would recognising his limitations (at this time) as a coach and a nuber 2, he would seek to build his off the field career before accepting such a crucial role at his beloved club.
Look at Bellamy. I for one would love him to take over the club, but I honestly think he knows he is too fresh at the moment and can guarantee if he comes in the summer his assistant/#2 would be of high profile to help him learn and call upon experience (Harry Red Knapp fits nicely). Sadly for me Scott Young doesn't have that to offer, but I take my hat off to him in respect of his 100% passion for the club.

One of my clients is a Pompey fan. Believe it or not hes glad to see the back of all the vultures and happy to be in League 2 starting again. The fans own the club now and they are only 2 promotions from where they were before Redknapp come in spending beyond their means.
They had a good few years of success but theyve predominently been a second tier side.
