Re: ' HES ON HIS WAY TO CCFC & THIS IS WHAT TO EXPECT '

After being surprisingly placed under a transfer embargo last week, the Welsh side are forbidden from completing permanent transfers until the end of the season, but the Bluebirds can dabble into the loan market, or bring in free transfers this January.

A few weeks back, a play-off bid looked like it could be on the cards in the Welsh capital, but those hopes have disintegrated following a poor run of form that has wielded just two wins in their last six games.

This drop in form could be pinned down to, among other factors, a lack of creative sparks in the centre of the park.

Feyenoord midfielder Lex Immers could be the man to provide this spark, and with the 29-year-old having only started two games in the Eredivisie this season, the Dutch club would most likely be willing to let their midfielder depart to get some regular game time under his belt.

The midfielder has amassed 31 goals in 100 league appearances since joining the Dutch club, back in 2012.

Cardiff fans will be hoping they can complete the deal before Saturday’s match against relegation threatened Rotherham.

31 in 100 games from midfield is good going even for the free scoring Dutch league. I'm glad they are telling the truth regarding his qualities rather than the usual bollocks we read. I remember reading that Guido Burgstaller would take the Championship by storm.

Great post but seriously speaking, to really know we have to give him him a chance, get behind him and see for ourselves.
He looks a bit of a character which City fans always love!

You know what - we actually need players that "work hard" - but for some of these lazy b'stards these days that couldn't give a monkeys

Liked what I saw of Burgstaller but the fella was never given a chance. Only started 2 games for us and scored in 1 of them.

Currenty averaging a goal every 2 games in the German 2nd division.

Couldn't agree more.
He looked like he had everything to succeed in the championship. Was never given a chance.

Agreed, he was barely given a chance. From what I saw of him pre season, in cup games and the few rare league appearances he looked like a good player. Hard working, strong and a decent left foot.

Sounds like one of our famous foreign signings that we only here about when they sign, and again when they leave saying we're a load or twots for not giving them a chance, then never hearing about them again......

Aye,welcome Immers.Like the headline says"this is what you can expect"and the abuse will get worse once you've kicked a football for us.
