You lot are not called the one eye jacks for nothink, funny you have never known nothink about the tesco club card offer for your tickets, it was on few occasions advertised in your local paper, an as for your crowds you are obviously forgetting the crowd you had with the palace game 13000 crowd, I just got so much hate for your football club its unreal jack :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

The loss to Sunderland was only a sign of how poor the officiating was. Any sane or fair minded football fan can see that. Its like sending off Ronaldo after 5minutes for simply oassing the ball, and then saying his sending off is a sign of how poor he is - it was an refereeing blunder, thats all.

£12m is massive. We dont rely on loans, the £12m for a disruptive and poor footballer can be put towards strengthening the side in areas we need. It makes no odds if it was to Newcastle or not. We need to get points ourselves, if we get another 19 in 17 games, we will be fine in my opinion - regardless of what Newcastle do.

We may sell them Gomis too. With my blessing, providing we have a replacement waiting.

Love how shelvey is a poor footballer now he's left. Ran the show for the Geordies yesterday and proves that with good players around him he is quality. He's a vile individual and not the best in the dressing room but he will ensure that the Geordies stay up. That could spell trouble for Swansea.

The 13,000 (i dont remember it) will be taken into consideration in the 15,000+ figure, it is an average attendance not a top attendance. And no ive never heard of this Tesco thing, the average attendance stayed the same for 3 years (in fact steadily increased) so I doubt any promotion (if existed) lasted that long, and judging from the steady figures woukd suggest it had no impact - it certainly wasnt advertised well... Not that i shop there of course.

You have only brought Shelvey up in conversation with me since he left, if you did before that then I and every other Swans fan would have told you the same, hence why he was sat on our bench for the last few months. He is a player of extreme potential, but will never realise it. Or if he does he was never going to realise it with us anyway. Its fine if you are a fan of Shelvey, but you must also understand that others wont be - and we certainly were not.

If we go down it will be simply because we havent reached the required amount of points (38 imo) and certainly not because we sold a bench player to Newcastle (whom I alsways thought were too strong to go down anyway). I dont subscribe to this looking at rivals results thing, and thankfully neither do the heirachy at our club, it seems we would rather improve ourselves than compromise that to the possible detriment of one club who may or may not go down anyway.

Banned for making a perfectly reasonable and balanced counter to some pretty unbalanced opinions regarding my club?

I didn't say I didn't like it, i said I didnt agree with what was said. You can disagree and still enjoy a discussion (even though many on here take "discussion" as an insult and return with abuse). it quite enjoy bringing facts into a debate lacking in them. Why you take offence at that I dont know. Surely you would rather an accurate debate rather than one full of errors, regardless of how satisfying it may be to slag the club off.

So you think that if a ref sends off one of your players and then gives the other side two phantom goals, you should still win if he gives you a controversial penalty? Im not sure if you really believe that or are saying it to be funny? The latter does work some what though,

We will never know what the outcome would have been if the refs didn't make mistakes. The fact of the matter is your a poor team who's won just 4 times this season. It won't matter if you go down will it? Your historically a lower league club.

That is not a fact that is your opinion. The outcome would have been us playing with 11 men and not conceding those two goals, thats certain and all that needs to be noted. But yes we have won 4 this season. Hopefully now we are playing better under better guidance we will win many more.

Jonjo Shelvey is historically a very poor man, however he is now rich and he will surely never want for nothing ever again. History is irrelevant.

History is not irrelevant. Learn from the past and you can shape the future. Mind you with swanseas lack of history as a club and place no wonder you lot chose to ignore it.

Re: No mention of Swansea....

Sun Jan 17, 2016 4:34 pm

History is irrelevant in the context he was suggesting. The present is tomorrows history, traditional based history is always changing. We are making our history now, it will be looked back on by generations to come. But to further my point, take Dubai for instance, historically it is an underdeveloped City - but that has no baring in what it is today and what it will probably always now be.

What? where do you get this stuff from?

The only people that have the attitude you describe is the newby fans who have only seen us in the top 10, the majority are quite upbeat and realise we are in a transitional stage and a fantastic place financially if it does happen to bounce right back. Id be shocked if we went down and genuinelly dont think we will. A win against Watford on Monday night and we are a few points off mid table. The drama you lot continue to wish to paint yourselves is... amusing shall we say.

That's quite amusing, I thought earlier that the over analisation of every point was a bit roathie esq, it's been a while I guess.
Looking at it now, going on and on about things no ones interested in like Swansea academies, what have they ever produced??
Exactly. You just sold a decent player to a main rival, that may well signal the end of you and you know it. I guess we better make the most of your deluded thoughts hey as if you go down we will never have to bear it again.....

Ah why did you ban him? I love it when he talks himself into a hole defending the holy grail of football in Swansea city. Sorry to disappoint you roathy, but you just don't score enough goals. Second lowest scorers says it all. See you next season :digging2: :P

Amusing that he's attempted to make out he's a bit clever yet he just outed himself that easily and lost it again, didn't take much, but of a dull tw@t in reality. Looks like the Welsh Wigan may well follow their English counterparts back to there rightful home too....

Can I borrow your crystal ball for the numbers next Saturday? It only embarrasses me when someone's obviously wrong on the subject of the jacks. They have every chance of going down, not saying they are but they're in a very precarious position now and have been languishing in and around the drop zone for some time now.

Im not Roathy, i always find it interesting as soon as a debate starts to go against people how many times and quickly that word is used, watch out for it in the future, its uncanny.

But to answer your question. We have projects and investments, we have two academies, a new training ground and a possible stadium purchase in the pipeline. We dont wish ti take loans or have outside "investments" so we must earn our miney rather than just put our hands out and get it. I dont know our net spend, but now Shelvey has gone id imagine there would be circa £20m in the pot to spend, £25m if Gomis leaves.

Its about spending it wisely now.

The fact you write an essay to respond stinks of roathy also the way you word everything screams roathy the rat hahaha you must think we're thick as shite mun
