All footballers are not namby pambys as many would have us believe.
What is the injury that Peltier is carrying? What is his level of fitness?
No manager is going to send out a player with a level of injury that will affect the performance of the team.
Every manager has at one time or another sent out players who are not 100% fit.

What's "shocking" is the original poster being shocked that a footballer is playing whilst not being 100%. I've a mate who was a professional footballer, didn't play for Cardiff and not above the third tier. But, he told me once, we were discussing Daniel Sturridge, that if he only played when he was 100% fit, he would only have played about 20 games in his career!

I doubt if I would stay up until four in the morning if I was on holiday and the City were playing away to Hull in a game we were favourites to lose.
