The club have little ambition and positive leadership at this time and until Mr Tan decides to invest in new quality strikers , then the club is doomed.. Slade cant do much without the financial backing and its evident the management of the club is failing, hence poor performances and poor attendances, besides no Partnership which is essential in My opinion .

It took slade 15 mins to react to going a goal down. Revell was obviously in the wars and needed to come off even before the goal but Slade did feck all apart from keep his hands in his pockets. Mason should have come on a lot earlier.Woild it have made a difference though? Probably not

What the f**k was Slade doing tonight? He brings on Kennedy straight after Shrewsbury scored to give some pace on the left, then he takes off Fabio for Noone and sticks Kennedy at right back. Macheda is a joke when he was through on the keeper I said to my brother he won't score. There is no way we will make top 6 be lucky to finish top half. I have put up with Slade and that muppet Young but that tonight was absolutely unacceptable. I normally sit a few rows from the back of the Ninian,but was in the Grandstand tonight and realise just how bad that pitch is,it is virtually impossible in certain areas to pass the ball on the floor it bobbles everywhere. Maybe that is why we play so slowly. That's no excuse for that shit tonight though!!!

I won't embroil myself in the Vincent Tan debate, especially as I'd rather deal with him than an owner who'd risk our financial future again, but the Slade nonsense has to end now. We are playing horrible football, damn worse than what we played under Malky, and yet when Malky went we were promised a better brand of football from the club moving forward. Where the f**k is that better brand of football?

I can't think of any club right now that still has a manager as hated as ours? No one wants Slade at this club. He needs to leave now, and then it's up to our owner to give us a good appointment to replace him.

For me Slade put out a very strong team to face Shrewsbury who had just lost their previous game 7-1 and lie 20th in the Div1.

For me this was a shocking/dire and shambles of a game by City and it will certainly not get our fans to return.

We had a very strong team out there and struggled at times against a worse than poor Shrewsbury team.

Tonight sums up how bad our club has become, another virtually empty stadium,followed by a shameful game.

Annis, I wasn't going to go tonight but my daughter nagged me and I wish she hadn't. There was no passion from the players bar a few and another showing from our inept clueless manager. You're right, we need a clear out from top to bottom.

I had been looking forward to tonight's game, FA Cup, and all that. Lets just say that I was very disappointed indeed leaving the ground. That side tonight would struggle in league 1. All around the ground there are photos from famous cup games. I was in the grandstand tonight, and there were photos from the Man City game, where Blakey scored. I know that we have two difficult away games coming up, but why not put out a stronger side? Chances are that we'll lose at Hull and Wolves anyway. Slade said in his programme notes that he wanted a cup run, but we're out in the third round. Too late now, but a run in the cup could have brightened up the season.

Credit to Shrewsbury, and their fans, though. They recovered well from their 7-1 last week. Gerrard applauded our fans at the end.

I went to the game and when I saw the team I was quite pleased. A good balance at the back and in midfield coupled with a couple of additions who were given the opportunity to impress

Early scare apart, I thought City were the better side in the first half and we might have gone in ahead. But we didn't and it came back to bite is on the proverbial backside in the second half, as it normally does!

It is safe to say that the team out there today were more than good enough to beat a generally pretty ineffective Shrewsbury team that took its goal very well but didn't really have too much to worry us throughout

100% IMHO because he apparently cannot motivate his team and certainly cannot change his tactics effectively when the pressure is both on and/or off

Sadly, unless we get a cohesive "Keep Slade" campaign going (supporters 'wanting' it is the ONLY way Tan would consider getting rid! ) then we are stuck with him until at least the end of this season and we can forget any realistic push for the play-offs

With that in mind, it's time to blood a few youngsters and see what they can do in readiness for next season. I'd support that, as it is now the logical thing to do
