People are though. Look at some of the posts on here. This result has got them talking about what a shambles the club is

People were saying what a shambles this club is long before tonight. This is just the icing on the cake.

State of pitch. Shocking

Performance. Shocking

Crowd. Shocking

Pretty much no one from the board present. Shocking

Non existent owner. Shocking.

The club is a shambles from top to bottom and its filtering onto the pitch and in the performances!

There's no more hiding or excuses it's sad to say the club is a complete shambles.Blackwood bluebird pretty much summed it up.

Paulh, I think you and Slade must be buddies.

I just like to call things on their merits. This game was awful theres no getting away from that. The maccasfield game in 2013 was awful too. They were non league and we were top of the championship, but i wasnt going over the top then and i wont now. We are still just about holding onto challenging for the playoffs. In that respect this game changes nothing, except maybe slade now knows there is 1 or 2 players he cant trust to put the effort in

The Macclesfield game was the development team and things were rosier back then.

Tonight there were 5 of Slades signings starting and Malone aside they were probably the worst players on the pitch.

Stuart O Keefe FFS. Dear lord if there's a reason not to give Slade any money this window then he is it.

I think we are its been poor management from Tan we are on our knees but we could get up again if we only had a direction from Tan to settle everyone down again .
Top six is still on but tan needs to speak out let us no what's what give us all a lift which we all need players staff and fans

As paying customers we are entitled to expect our team to put in a better performance than that tonight.

Of course but that wasnt really my point.

Ive read one guy say we lost on purpose. Another say hes not renewing after 59 years after this game. And others seem to think this defeat confirma what a shambles we are as a club.

All of the above is over reacting.... being pissed off that we were shit and lost to a lower league club isnt

Re: ' Please stop over reacting '

Paul, were you there tonight? The mood in the stadium said a lot.

Personally it was the final straw for me. Yes, it was "only" a cup game and upsets happen. But our overall performance and our tactics were completely wrong. Russell Slade was beaten tactically by a manager at lower League One level.

It was all completely unacceptable.

As I said in my thread, it was upsetting tonight because that was a strong team out.

Everyone who cares about the club will always come to a point when they've had enough of the management, and tonight was that moment for me.

But I will say fair play to you, because you have stuck by Slade for a long time. I completely disagree with you on that, but got to give some credit for at least sticking to what you believe in.

Thing is im not completely pro slade. I dont think hes done the terrible job that some do but im not tonteg blue either

I wasnt there no, and yes i agree that it isnt good enough. But this beaten tactically thing... i dunno, i think its just something people like to say.

I was at the bournemouth league cup game last year, and the bristol city game this season and i would say both were worse than this today.

Its never great losing to a lower league side, but shrewsbury have knocked better teams than us out of the cup not so long ago and if we could manage to beat hull in midweek ill have forgotton all about today

Completely agree with you mate. That's definitely not acceptable not just the 0-1 score line but the performance etc.
Especially as people like you travel to try to support. I live locally and now I only pick my games. They seem to be getting less & less though.

Quite often, especially under Ole, it seemed like City could be playing for weeks without getting anywhere near scoring a goal... Strange with Ole being a European Cup Winner... While City have averaged more than one goal a game this season it often feels as if they do not know how to get to the opposition goal... Shrews conceded seven at Chesterfield just last week... City need not one but two or three proven goalscorers, one would be an improvement, but where would such a goal scorer have to come from to find City an attractive move?

the loan market from the premier league could be the answer there, it has worked for us before.

The Owner - Not performing?
The Manager - Not performing?
The Players - Not performing?
The Fans - Not performing?

Re: ' Please stop over reacting '

Mon Jan 11, 2016 11:25 am

First things first last night was utter crap and everyone at CCFC from the owner/manager/players & fans has responsibility for the result.

Is this the final straw for me? Hell no there have been much worse games in the past, believe me much worse so the claim of overreaction is a valid one.

That said I agree Slade is now under some pressure although in fairness his league record of P25 W9 D10 L6 is not as bad as many claim. If Slade wants inspiration for Tuesday night then he should make the whole squad watch the DVD of last night more than a few times!
