I am reliably informed that it was Conway's agent that started the rumor.  Ahhh,January and July-more bullshite than a cow's paddock.

He never had much pace but he was the best crosser of a ball out of all our wingers.

great idea when pilks is worth a lot more and a much better player

I prefer Conway but as Pilkington is a lot younger we would probably get a fee to do the swap.

Hes 31 in May this would be a backward step.

Just what we need a fkin winger with no pace! Im waiting for some clown to suggest bringing Don back with him, then I know this team is in the sh*t!

Just a rumour. Pilks is a much better all-round player....though I believe his best position will be 'in the hole'. Not that Slade is ever going to play him there!

Brilliant player who could cut inside the defender and curl a beauty into the far corner :ayatollah:
Conway on the left and Noone on the Right... Perfect in this division. We should never have let him go

Players are never any good when they return to us. Just think of Brian Clark and David Giles. Can't see Conway being any different.

^^ this

I agree we need pace and Conway lacks pace ..

While were at it lets bring back Nathan Blake since we now need a striker!!!!

FFS what a backwards step this would be!

We allowed Jones who desperately needed a 442 winger to bing accurate crosses in to leave, then bring in one of the best crossers and workers in the championship after he has left.

I cant take any more of this madness.

I am a Malky fan however i believe he was very harsh on Conway and he deserved a season in the Premier with us, so yes I would love to take him back :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

What madness?? Jones has reportedly been given £50k a week contract, do you really believe we had any chance of keeping him on £15-£20k a week? I agree that he was not utilised correctly, whilst here though, with no one at the club able to ping crosses in with any consistency
