Bradley Dack - Gillingham

Barnum Bobb played in the 1st round against Brackley Town, O`Sullivan played against Barnet in 2nd round, so I`m afraid to say their both cup tied.

I would love for us to sign Bradley Dack, he is a quality young midfielder. He is the exact type of midfielder that we need, he scores goals, he creates goals and he is a quality set piece taker. With Dickgacoi as our anchor, defensive midfielder protecting our back four, we could have Dack and Ralls in the middle with Dack being our attacking midfielder. The only probably I can see with us signing Dack, is the fact that Gillingham reportedly want at least £3m for him and of course we don't have that type of money to spend all on one player, we haven't even got that much to spend on 3-4 new players. That is the big stumbling block we face when going for Dack. Personally, I think he is a cracking player and he would definitely be able to play at Championship level, so I would take a chance on him for £3m, but no more than that. However, all is not lost as I feel there is another player just as good as him, who is also playing League 1 football. This guy is very similar to Dack in many ways, he scores goals and gets assists, he hasn't got as many goals throughout his career as Dack but he does score more than our current midfielders. The guy's name is Romaine Sawyers from Walsall. He is another young lower league player who I would take a chance on signing. The good thing with Sawyers though is the fact that Walsall are not asking as much money for him, as Gillingham are asking for Dack.
