Like other posters on here, all state Alan Curtis is a top man. It throws my memory back of a game when he was with the city, I as you may have guessed was involved with refereeing for longer than I care to remember and in the 80s the referees from the Welsh League were involved as acting as 4th official at the Football league grounds. I was at City for a league Cup game against Plymouth, Burrows was manager and Curtis was on the bench that night. I was sat next the the subs and Curtis was chatting away with me all through the first half, a lovely guy, anyway in the first half city were 4-0 down and Burrows leaned forward and shouted at me "you are the only one of you 4 b*****ds not having a mare" to which Curtis was giggling like a drain.
10 minutes into the 2nd half he sent Curtis on and he totally changed the match and was instrumental in city winning 5-4

I never thought I would ever say this but I hope Alan Curtis does well at Swansea, he's a true gent and Cardiff fans of my generation would not argue with that, he was great for us and wore his heart on his sleeve and just because now he has been appointed Swansea manager until the end of the season will not change my personal view on him. Younger fans that won't remember him in his Cardiff days will probably think different just because it is Swansea. I wish him all the best, he deserves it, I would have him as our manager in a heartbeat right now

The only consolation for me if Swansea Town stay up is summed up by this comment.

Mental some of the comments in here. Since he took us over, we've been far, far better. I'd only be laughing if if I was a Cardiff fan, if we'd kept Monk.

I'm sure your happy not being able to get a Manager while in a relegation battle despite searching the World, and then having to give it to a number three who will be the least experienced Manger in the football League

The Sunderland Swansea Manager decisions remind me of the season when Palace got Pullis and we got Ole, he was a nice bloke too, but a useless Manager.......
