Sounds a wonderful trip you have planned always wanted to visit Hawaii and that is on my bucket list. Sure I will do it one day.

Yosemite National Park was one of the planned places but as we only have 2 days im not sure we can do it. The one day trip sais its 5 hours each way and only stop for 2 hours.

You do need more than two hours in Yosemite, there is also Muir woods, ( really short drive just over the golden gate bridge)
but out of the two, it's Yosemite first. I can't remember it being that long a drive there. Here is one tour that spends 5/6 hours in the park, there are probably others that may give you longer time there, earlier start and late return.

5 hours each way from where? I live in Fresno which is less than an hour away from Yosemite and regularly travel to SF & LA for work so depending on where you're coming from makes a big difference as there are a couple of ways into the park.

Deffo not five hours away. I drove from Yosemite to Lake Tahoe which wasn't that far. Then done Lake Tahoe to San Fransisco in around 3 hours if I remember correctly. But Deffo need at least a day there maybe two.
But enjoy your holiday it sounds fantastic and as I said Hawaii sounds fantastic.

We are in central San Fran (union square is it?)

Maybe it was just that trip that is 5 hours, maybe they stop all over the place. If its just an hour we will try and go for the day for sure. Thanks for the info guys :ayatollah: .

Sedona, Arizona apart, San Francisco is possibly the most incredible place in America!

We couldn't find a RV site to stay in so we spent 3 nights parked down the Marina looking towards Alcatraz. It's bustling with life down there and they have street performers every 20 feet. We had a Michael Jackson next to our RV and it was constant OWWWW. Me and the boy went back there for some lunch and sitting in the RV it was OWWW, now don't get me wrong he was good very good and he was a spitting image of him as well. Well our ear drums had taken a battering so I opened the window and shouted at him " Oy Jacko shut the f**k up will ya" the look on his face and those listening and my Lad was a picture. Still chuckle now.
Walking over the Golden Gate Bridge was immense as well.
