I feel the same, we really haven't got the best of records of signing strikers from the continent. His record isn't exactly great so for me also, really not bothered.

I know Celtic would win that league even with my left bollock was in charge.

This guy makes Kenwyne Jones look like Usain Bolt.
Surely we should be after someone with pace..our squad is slow enough as it is.

Celtic looking to beat Cardiff City to deal for 23-year-old striker

Scottish giants Celtic are eyeing a move to hijack Cardiff City’s proposed move for Dutch striker Wout Weghorst, according to De Telegraaf (via Football Oranje)
Cardiff City had reportedly already struck a deal with Weghorst’s parent club, Heracles, to bring in the striker, amidst news that Kenweyne Jones has left.
Celtic , are hoping that the lure of a Scottish First Division title challenge, will lure the giant striker to Celtic Park, and the potential opportunity of European football.
Interest in the forward is high, with Weghorst having bagged six goals in the league for Heracles this season, and his physicality and aerial prowess could prove useful assets for both sides.
Whilst Cardiff will feel his physical style perfectly suits the Championship, the guarantee of continental qualification and regular silverware might just be enough to lure the Dutchman to Scotland.
Cardiff City currently sit in ninth place in the Sky Bet Championship, having accumulated 37 points from 25 league games this season.

And me. If he can stay fit watt and saadi upfront for me. Pace and pace movement and movement directness and directness quality and quality that will cause havoc for defenses more than signing some lanky b*stard to win a few headers.
The more I think about Watt and Saadi together I just get excited.

You two dullards are the reason our players get overhyped to f**k after seeing 20 minutes of game time and a YouTube video!

all this disrepect to a club like celtic is lazy and unwarranted. firstly they are a huge club, and they have europe.
look at the players that have secured moves to premier league teams. they can sell themselves as a stepping stone club and sign better players now that people know there is a market for players that flourish there. wanyama £12.5m to southampton, fraser forster £8m to southampton, virgil van dyke £12m to southampton, gary hooper to norwich £5m. not to mention ledley and adam matthews.
if players do well there they will get moves to premier league teams.
