Maybe we can loan Slade to Luton.

The supporters are split well in the middle with this one, but it's simple

he's good, but not £35,000 a week good.

Oh but at least he puts a shift in

Hopefully we have someone lined up to replace him, his wages alone will free up some decent funds. Revel is league 1 at best.

Revell has been linked with a return to Wigan.

If he stays and is used then we should back him.

I'd rather have a hard working striker who rarely scores than a lazy one who rarely scores.

Jones has got 6 in the last 36 games for us

Revell 3 in 29.

£ per goal - a hell of a lot less.
Effort per £ - a hell of a lot more.

Hopefully we can get better in anyway with the huge amount of money it will free up.
Revell would only ever be a stop gap.

What about Macheda, Mason, Saadi, Doyle.

Doyle's been linked with a sale and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mason or Macheda leave.

My mate saw Washington for Peterborough last weekend and said he was promising, but nothing special, Posh created loads of chances and he could have had 4 or 5 with better finishing.

I'd give him a try.
Also we've been tantalised by Choo and Slade saying they are lining up a striker off the continent who's quick and strong, so that could be a help

At the end of the day our attacking options need a shake up if we are going to challenge, as only Watt really seems to be worth his place

So Washington is "nothing special" and a wasteful finisher but you want to give him a try

Alex Revell is simply not good enough for championship level football. He's taken loads of unnecessary stick from our fans purely because he was signed by Russell Slade, who identified him as a goal scorer to take us into the play offs.
Unfortunately like almost ALL of Mr Slade's signings it hasn't worked out for neither him nor the club.
Yes, he works hard by running around the pitch all day, but we could have signed Mo Farah to do exactly the same thing couldn't we !
Idris Saadi actually DID look very promising during his couple of minutes on the field, but that's all it was - a couple of minutes, so let's not start slating him if he doesn't score in his first few appearances. And that's also assuming he actually lasts a couple of games considering our coaching/training/medical staff will be looking after him.

Annis ok so he wants away? But what scout watching him over the past few months is going to recommend him. If he does he could soon find himself out of work.

Yes, cheap , young and quick.
Not a big gamble

Some can make the step up, some can't.
It was also one persons report on one game. He also agreed that apart from Watt , Washington was better than we've got.

13 goals in 12 games is a decent record for a young lad like that.

I also see that Hull are in for Campbell.

I'm not sure what you are expecting- we don't shop in Harrods any more ;)
