Anyone who says Slade is an absolute idiot.
He is not the worst, however no where near to being the best, noticed we are still 10th, you were saying he was so great because we were in the play offs, not any more

Didn't say he was the best.
Nice to see you're happy that we're not in the play offs, proper fan.

Doubt if any of us are happy about not being in a play off position. Most of us do not live in fantasy land and can see that we have absolutely no chance of getting into the play offs without a couple of good signings to help us on our way. Sometimes it is worth trying to look at things from a more neutral point of view and not through blue blinkers all the time. Like it or not, this is not going to be our lowest position between now and the end of the season. Our next game is a good chance for a much needed win, and I think we are due a convincing one, I can see us winning this one by at least 3 goals. Not confident about the two games which follow Blackburn though, will do well do get a point from them.
A lot of 'stay away' fans love to see us lose, purely because they're too stubborn to admit when they're wrong.
We're 6 points off the play offs, okay that's two losses more than we should have, but that's far from "no chance" of achieving a play off place. It's all swings and roundabouts, we're only half way through the season and a lot can still change. If fans had a little bit of faith and actually used their time and effort to support the team instead of unnecessarily criticizing the club, maybe we would be doing a little bit better than we are. Why do you even bother turning up if you've given up on the team already?
If we're only 6 points off a play off place now that we've played every team in this league, we have every chance of getting there. Far from defeated.

City fans would love him about these days then, I mean as long as it's good football rite it don't matter about the league table or results, imagine the melt down on here. I've seen some people say this on here that's how crazy modern football is

Ole due to the wasted millions, Alf, Morrison, Pilks
Expecting Zaha to save the season was shockingly poor management

Allan Durban

Neal would be my choice. That was a grim season.
Why I put ole down was we had a chance of a lifetime in the premier but ole was useless his teams had no fight and his selections due to the talent he had was useless I think some people won't slate him cos ole a nice guy but terrible manager for us and I do agree we have had some shit managers mate

Kenny Hibbit/Russell Osman were dire but then again so was the playing staff.
Slade isn't a bad manager but he is how ever associated with the legacy of demotion, rebrand and fire sales.
Until he goes he will always be part of this era at the club and sadly for him the stigma won't allow him to be accepted.

Phil Neal without question.

Anyone from Durban, Graham Williams or Russell Osman. Best was possibly Ritchie Morgan. Did wonders with a limited team and a couple of have decent signings
Sat Jan 02, 2016 5:23 pm
Bobby Gould
Phil Neil
Kenny hibbit
Alan Durban.
All shit but Bobby Gould for was the worst and Wales had to enjur him.

Agree not sure what was worst watching wales or Cardiff under Gould

1. Durban
2. Neal
3. Osman
OK it was shit under Ole but there were decent players at the club
The dark days under Durban were far more traumatic. A god awful team with a manager who somehow managed to make it weaker week after week with no hope of improvement. It was also very lonely in the stadium!
