We complain about Slade's signings and sing about a manager who signed a striker for 8 million he didn't play, a right back for 2 million he didn't play, a striker for 2 million he didn't play, a midfielder for 2.5 million he only played towards the end of the season.

He even bought a striker for 750k who was on 25k a week that was released a year later.

He has shown no indication that he could operate on a shoestring budget. Even in his first year at the club he had a big wage budget to operate within. When he took over Wigan they regressed as a side until he was playing no striker.

IF the Striker you are refrring too is Fraser then you are incorrect, he had 2 seasons with us, 1 in the championship and 1 in the Premier, he also had a release clause which the majority of players have. :bluescarf:

Nope Kenny Miller.

I stand corrected, the player who helped get to the Play offs and the Cup Final, so MM let him go and and then we went up as Champs, such a bad call by MM :) :) :) :)

Point is it was money wasted. Again.

Was it though, i call it stepping stones, he then used said money from wages to get someone better like Mutch, 750K is peanuts in this game :ayatollah:

Mutch signed before Miller left.

He had plenty of wages to play with. Miller was on 25k a week. Probably 35k with bonuses. Although didn't need to pay goal bonuses. Miller couldn't hit a barn door.

Miller left on July 12th to Vancouver, Mutch signed on July 1st Miller scored 11 goals and had many assists, without him we would not have made the Play offs or got to the Cup Final. we actually paid £870,000. Malky also bought Helguson on a free transfer and he scored 12 goals, so when you pick holes in someone don't forget to add the positives, The bottom line is you could pick holes in anyone, but the History books say MM took us to Premier the first manager to do so in over 50 years as for Slade just an average manger, and Tan's Yes Man, out of his depth and is taking us no where :ayatollah:

So if we bring Miller back will Mason be a good player again? :laughing6:
