We were worth a point mate, a decision cost us though they should have had a penalty early doors. Would rather lose to a penalty that was than wasn't.

Paul, we were worthy of a point I agree, but our finishing was poor tonight

Not relevent because if the tref wasnt blind we would be talking about a 0 0 draw where we just didnt do enough in the final third

But then we could all agree that the draw is a decent enough result

Very relevant because we had a full 45 mins to get a goal back and we never

It's all about opinions and we lost to a team many poor sides have beaten at their ground

But they would not have won if the ref hadn't given them a penalty which clearly wasn't. Also, on many occasions the ball didn't quite run for us. Not a great performance but we were the better team and with a bit of luck would have won the game.

Who knows?

But we can only blame ourselves tonight as our end product was not good enough, Rem Brums record is awful at home and other ordinary teams manage to win there. We showed tonight once again we are not a promotion team

Are you sure that your big downer on Slade isn't influencing what you say or what you think? Most on this thread seem to think we were robbed and had enough of the ball in good areas to win the game. I don't think we can blame Slade tonight for the players using bad judgement at key moments, for failing to find team mates in better positions when a simple pass was on, for poor finishing, for a deflection just the wrong side of the post, for the ref being a complete tosser. A bit more pace in the team replacing Kenwyn (who is too slow in deed and thought) and perhaps a really quick winger and we won't be far away.

It's always the ref whenever we lose. What is relevant is that we could'nt score against a poor side, and were made to look average against a team going through a bad run. The most relevant factor is we picked up nil points despite playing against a poor performing team.

It's all about opinions, I 100% have nothing personal against Slade, in fact a very likeable guy , I just feel we had 90 minutes to score a goal against a team on an awful run at home and why does it always seem to be us that these teams beat and we always say it's not our fault.

It was not a penalty, but we had a full 45 mins to put the record straight and we never and with the quality on our bench we should off.

No way could the Ref see that from where he was, and he was influenced by the Birmingham players shouting handball. I couldn't tell if that was a foul on Marshall, but he still should of done better with the cross. We seem to be having some bad luck this year with stupid goals against us

I agree, it was the end product that let us down last night, 2 average teams.

I think we had 2 shots on target first half and 1 shot second half, we should of upped it in the second half.

Totally agree mate, we offered nothing in the final third but neither did they. It was two poor teams but that sums up the Championship for the last five years or so.

Hi Annis,

How anyone can stand up for RS beggars belief. In my opinion we are still playing the same old boring way when he first took over.

If he says they were unfit then god knows what he sees now. Most of them look like they want to get out KJ especially 35k a week, daylight robbery. Maybe Sam Allardyce will take a Jan punt on him, he is desperate for a big lazy CF.

MK Dons next week and I can see us being turned over, the teams below us have got us made and if we don't score we are done!

First time I saw RS last night look worried, he looked like a rabbit caught in headlights. Like you I think he is probably a nice bloke but it's obvious to us the punters that he is out of his depth.

Where do we go from here, who knows Tan has given up so why not us. Only way to force his hand :sladeout:

Re: MY VIEW " JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH TONIGHT IN OUR "

Just watched the game again and I still believe that we were poor last night with some of the players simply not showing enough intensity to claim and keep and foothold in the game. Last night I voted for Watt as man of the match but having watched the game again I should have voted for Pilkington who seemed to cover every blade of grass as he made one run after another and worked his bollocks off. On another day Pilkington could have scored a couple of goals himself.

Ralls, Gunnarsonn and Jones in particular had poor games whilst Ameobi flatters to decieve and whilst I know not every player is 100% at it in every game last night we simply had too many off the pace.

Our away form is becoming a massive concern as we have now failed to score in 5 of our last 7 away games and whilst we are more than a match for any team at Home we really do have a soft underbelly away from the CCS.

With 33 points we are now behind where we need to be approaching the halfway point of the season and we have another away game away at MK Dons next, in my opinion, this is a must win game but who really fancies us to do just that.

I think the title of this thread should change to "Not good enough away from Home for the last 2 months" because last night was yet another example of our failings away from Home.
