To make a sub while defending a corner? To continue with a substitution of replacing a winger with a very weak full back just after conceding, at home, is crackers. The guy is tactically inept. We concede too many goals down our left, seriously frustrated by the inability to close down a game. Brentford no where near Sheffield Wednesday in ability yet we capitulated again. Thank god Big Al left Kenwynne on, Ameobi is a luxury we can do without.

Brentford were in the play offs last season so we all know they are a decent team.

Seriously? They were in the Play offs with a manager who left for Rangers and an 8 million pound plus striker who went to Burnley. Spurs youngster who ran the midfield, all gone.

You cannot look at that team tonight and say they are even a shadow of last year's Brentford team.WE WERE 2 NIL UP! For the third home game in a row the master tactician comitted errors that Gwent league 2 manager would know better than to do.

If you can, take a look at Pilks response to being subbed. He snapped tonight and Slade didn't have the bollocks to even respond.

I get the feeling though that the team has finally clicked or starting to under Slade now. :ayatollah:[/quote]

Do you actually watch any of our games?

What a load of crap. I've never met a genuine fan who wants to see their team lose, and I would say most of us there tonight were genuine fans. It was a relief when the winner went in, and I did'nt see too many disappointed faces when Jones got the vital goal.

What... winning games?

Yes, because that's clearly what I meant..

Are you saying it's fine to risk conceding two goals in three straight home games? Whether we score more, which has only happened in one of the last three games, leaking this many goals is unacceptable.

And it's ridiculous that our best defender can't even get a game when we're conceding this many.

They looked terrified in the second half. People booing after 2 1 didnt help whatsoever.

Mason is not good enough.

Ralls is class.

And if kennedy cant get on that bench then he is being sold.

For that, i dont care what happens to slade.

I agree with everything but Kennedy :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Annis, I don't understand mate, why are you blaming Tan? SLADE is the manager. Tan can do no right by you even if he gives a million to charity. As a businessman we ask make decisions, both you, I and Tan. Can I ask you Annis, if 10,000 people hated you, how would you feel? There are kids reading this forum, don't you think by being the better man and following Vince Alms actions we can all show that we are united for Cardiff City!?
Also, I am with you on Slade being inept and not good enough for our team, but I don't hate him. NOW Dai Hunt!!!???? Well.. I will pray for him.

Tan, brought the hatred to himself, he stripped the identity of our club I have loved and followed for 43 years,he divided our fan base, broke the heart of it and laughed at us with his jokes, no wonder 10,000 hated him.

So what happened to the Red Brigade who backed him and turned on us? I will tell you what happened to them, as soon as we started struggling most of them deserted and have said they don't go because of the bad football. Well in my opinion you support your club through the good and bad days and these are no where near like the real old bad days.

Thanks to Tan, My love for Cardiff City is no where near what I really use to feel for them, he broke many fans including myself, our identity meant everything to me, but I was not going to walk away,I stayed and fought for it back, 3 years of hell.

Vince has his beliefs and opinions.

As to Slade, I hope he proves us all wrong, I don't rate him, but for the good of Cardiff City, I want him to succeed.

THE DON wrote:We were lucky tonight and that last minute kenwynne goal just papers over the cracks for me. This second half collapse is becoming a bit of theme now and Slade still has not figured out how to defend a two goal lead. We were defending so deep we were practically inviting Brentford to score. We were yet again like rabbits caught in the headlights. I think the only thing that saved us was that Brentford ran out of puff which slowed the game down. If tonight's game had ended 2-2 everyone would be screaming for Slades head. He is a very very lucky man tonight as kenwynne has well and truely saved his sorry arse. :sladeout:

Don, I walked away after the the players had left the pitch a happy fan :thumbright: but your right all its done is paper over the cracks.
Our defending was deep and we could of easily have lost the game, thankfully we won, time will tell how well we will do,but Im not confidant.

Our four best attacking players tonight were Noone, Watt, Jones and Pilkington and he decides to take three of them off :o

Teams don't give up in the Championship so you just have to keep pressing and looking a threat, you just cannot sit back and let them come at you.

Nobody in their right mind would believe that Mason is better than Ameobi at either chasing people down or causing the back four a problem (neither are great mind you!!) yet Slade puts Mason on for Watt

Two of his top players remaining on the pitch, Jones and Fabio, got him out of trouble tonight.

That's three home games in a row, he needs to start learning from his mistakes .......... quick !!

The minute I knew Fabio was starting I got excited :ayatollah: and the game was exciting, but thanks to us virtually collapsing in the second half, it became very scary exciting and worrying if this pattern continues.

Agree with all of that summing up, except I think RS has done well with the cards he has been dealt and although we seem to be going backwards, the facts and league position say otherwise.

It actually gives me a headache when I think about those few years in RED, terrible time for me personally.

Keep the faith !!! :bluescarf:
