tactically naive. mans a nice guy but very stubborn and has dinosaur tactics.
i wish him well when he leaves us. i do believe its time for a young up and coming manager whose not afraid to counter other teams.
for me the way we should have gone about saturday was bring on Manga to man mark forriestieri as he was running the show when Carvalho put him behind the 2 strikers. we was 2 up so i would have taken off Watt. controversial but think it would have been right call.
i also believe Bellamy would have seen it being an ex player and knowing how tactics work

Is Russell Slade being tactically outdone by the opposition managers ?
Yesterday Carlos Carvalhal changed his system during the game and turned a likely defeat into a draw.
Two weeks ago Sean Dyche did exactly the same with Burnley.
That's the difference between our Manager and a young up and coming manager...most of them are prepared to stand by their decisions and explain their thinking behind them even if they don't work..our manager doesn't make any decisions!!!!
