I hope 100% its Not true and I don't believe it for one moment.
Neither do I Annis and like you I hope there is nothing in it at all.
Carl,I really hope not as if he did well there, we would be the laughing stock once again.
The laughing stock is actually believing this would ever happen. They have a philosophy and they'll stick to it. Malky had no actual philosophy, no plan B and was wasteful in the transfer market. I seem to remember that last season that you were adamant Malky was holding out for jobs and was 'bigger than some clubs' one including two time European Cup winners Nottingham Forest. In the end he took the Wigan job, spent a fortune on wages and more or less got them relegated. He's now been linked to Championship strugglers Charlton. He is NOT a Premier League manager. He's a lower half Championship manager at best
The one part of your flawed argument that stands out is the "He's a lower half Championship manager at best", in fact he is a Championship winning manager at least.
That's what he's won but not what his ability is. McDermott won the league with Reading but how did he fair with Leeds?
Roy Keane won the league with Sunderland but how did he fair with Ipswich?
The facts are there, first year for Cardiff Top 6/Play-offs,Carling Cup Final. Second Year Runaway Champions/first time back in the Top League for City in 51 years and Malky was the manager.
Thats now part of our Great History and on Malky's CV![]()
He upset his employer by getting caught in schoolboy banter with racist connotations.
He signed a player for 8million pounds who wasn't even worth 10% of that.
That, too, will be on his CV.

Nottingham Forest were relegated under Brian Clough, so what is your point ?
Are you saying that Clough was a failure ?

Not at all. You can't compare Malky and Clough

But you say it wasn't Malky's ability that got us promoted, it's just something he won.

There's me thinking you are successful based on your ability and what you achieve, I must be doing something wrong.

Malkyball was very effective in the Championship to be fair. We were found out a bit in the top league.

I did not bother to read half his post, after I had read his first line.
Spot on Carl and the only manager to ever achieve that for Cardiff City![]()
With funds, the biggest funds in the clubs history. I applaud his achievements in his first season, building a team that achieved a cup final and a sixth placed finish but we all know the money was the reason we got promoted. It was promotion or bust for us really, a three year plan sped up .
So in season one, he reached a cup final and play offs.
In his second season, he won the Championship.
In his short lived but third season, he got decent results in the Premier League and never dropped into the bottom three.
But he is a lower championship manager.
Yea great basis for your argument, not !!

Do you really think Malky would have kept us out of the bottom three with our January fixtures? May have got us a win against Sunderland but do you think we'd have beaten Arsenal away, West Ham Home, Man City and Man United away? In the month where he asked for even MORE funds to the £50m he had spent in the summer.
How did Malky fair(with Wigan apparently having the highest wage bill in League One) ?

Annis I think it's 99.9%. I know you are a fan of Malky but the chances of him getting any Premiership job are impossible. His reputation has taken too much of a hit.
