We took 3000 to Burnley a season or so before, only to be told as we pulled up that QPR hadn't had points deducted and the game was a dead rubber.

I was at all 3 of these games
3 very memorable days
1988 game was a beaut of a day - pitch invasions, game stopped early - police right on everybody's case outside before game, forcing all to tip their beer down the drains etc ahhh good times
It was mental Beep.
People kicking the crumbling concrete on the terrace and then chucking it over the fence . Big terrace split in 2 - half Cardiff, half Burnley, massive fence in the middle.
Burnley fans all over the pitch 10 mins from the end.
City fans locked in for 1/2 hour after the game. Singing for Frankie Burrows- only Burrows was on a scouting mission in Hartlepool

one of my favourites that game lol, brill atmosphere, referee stopped game and wouldn't let teams come back out, sure it was Alan Curtis running for his life at one point pmsl
