3) a good rapport with fans to get them behind him in unison
4) a cohesive dressing room behind him that believes in him
The football doesn't really matter. If its effective, its effective. The point is Slade isn't because he is not a manager with the required attributes to get us out of this division.
Look at previous managers who've taken clubs up:
1) Malky - passion, grit, players fought for him, fans loved him
2) Brenda - Swansea had grit and played good football, players played for him, fans loved him
3) Warnock - passion, grit, fans loved him and had fight and stuck up for his team like it was his family
4) Howe - fans loved him, great passion, good style of football the entire team bought into, etc.
5) Adkins - tactician, adored by Southampton fans, players like Lallana loved and thrived off his system etc.
Notice all of these common traits of top managers.......these are things from within.
Now, lets ask ourselves these questions:
1) Do you believe Slade has passion? If so, does he show it enough for it to rub off on the entire team?
2) Does his side have grit and determination? Does it want to put in a shift for him over the entire season?
3) Do the players buy into his style, formation and tactics?
4) Does he have the fans onside in unison? If not, why not?
Slade is a decent manager who has steadied the ship but I don't believe for one moment he has the required traits and attributes to take us to another level. Would I get rid of Slade for someone like Bellamy? No. Would I get rid of him for someone who I believe could take us to the next level? Yes. The key is the timing of the replacement.

All of them? Or just his favourites? For me, the only reason I'd keep Slade is that he's given the likes of Ralls a chance.

Lack of crowds is linked to success nothing more. When we were red it was "crowds would improve if we were blue."
They didn't.
Only joking Russ
