Everyone forgets how poor we were before Trollope come along. We have a good squad of players and yes harmony in the dressing room is essential and i'll give Slade that but his signings do not give me any confidence whatsoever and in the main i'm not enjoying the football, but hey I never enjoyed Malky's football so anything is possible

I am. Jamie Vardy is having a party mate.

He has surprised me looking at the table tonight. And credit to him. I am happy, but I am not settling for that, I should be even happier, we should be higher up the league quite frankly.

I am no way gonna get carried away by this play off showing tonight. Finally He has done things that most of us would have done a long time ago, i.e. play Ralls in the middle and give him a run of games, find a hungry, strong running forward with a finish to partner Kenwynne, and rest Whitts. That was a poor Bolton team today, and its not a great standard in the division as a whole, not for the last 3 seasons, not as good as previous seasons.

Trollope has improved things since his arrival too. The fact is defence wise Slade has had us well sorted from the off, he has done well there. Midfield and attack has been poor though, and thats why with a more strategic fluid manager we would be higher up the league. Nathan Blake was right on the phone in tonight, you can win matches and play good attacking football.

So for me its almost a relief to see us in the top six, because we should have been there sooner and with this squad and with better signings than Slades, challenging for the top two. But he is Tans man and what you or I think, he is here for at least till the end of the season. So for that reason we have to support him for now. But he is not my man, hope he proves me wrong. :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

More people more interested in being right than the club succeeding.

No one cares about your internet egos lads.

CCFC is all that really matters.

Shouldn't get over excited with a win but equally not doom and gloom after throwing it away last week. Am no fan of Slade but have always said he's done a decent job in what I believe he was instructed to do, if he can take us up I will be amazed but credit due last two matches

At the end of the day Slade's target before the season started was to make the play offs, if we continue to do what we are currently doing and getting points on the board we will achieve this. There's not been a single point this season when I've thought he's deserved to be sacked, all I've seen is a small blip but mostly progress, especially since last season. :ayatollah:

Listen we all want the same thing, Cardiff back in the Premier league, but get real, at one point during yesterday's game we were 12th that is how close it is in this division. So sixth we are but 12 point off the top.
If we can keep Watt and KJ then we have a chance of staying in the Top six if don't keep Watt then it will be a Mid table finish again :ayatollah:

This business is all about results and he is not doing a bad job at the minute as only five teams are currently having better results than us. I don't buy into the view that our squad should be able to get automatic promotion, and I think whoever manages us would not find it easy to finish in the top six. I am still convinced we will end the season way off the play off places, but Slade will have done what he was employed to do. We will be playing Championship football next season, but the wage bill will be lower, and hopefully the club's debts will be lower as well.

My honest opinion is that if Slade had not been Vincent Tans appointment then a lot of fans would not be calling for his head. Like many fans I am not convinced that Slade can get us promoted but under the constraints he has to work under he is doing a pretty decent job.

We are now in the top 6 and what we have to do is find some consistency and string a run of results together. We all want the best for Cardiff City FC and we all need to pull together cut out the negativity and get behind the team AND the Manager.

We are going to have blips and will probably drop out of the Play Off places because it is very close and as we all know a very tough league to get out of. However it is a marathon not a sprint and it is where we end up in April that counts as long as we don't have a disaster and slide right down the table then I think that will be the time to make a judgement on Slade and the players. :old: :bluescarf:

Nonsense. Hull, Derby, Middlesborough, Burnley, QPR all have better squads on paper. Why should a side that finished mid-table last season with no significant first team additions be guaranteed top two?

A lot of fans saying the result was lucky on the weekend...but when has any team ever got promoted without their fair share of good fortune. Tony Watt has given us a different edge, and to score 3 goals in open play is a step in the right direction. We couldn't score a goal, a matter of weeks ago.
