Other countries don't take the Davis cup seriously but it was a fantastic achievement so Murray would be my second choice, it was great to watch and he is one of Britains greatest sportsman at the moment.

My first choice is Kevin Sinfield. He's had an amazing career and is the most decorated Brit in his sport. I listened to an interview with him the other day talking about his switch to Union for this year and he was a cracking down to earth bloke.

To dismiss vardys achievement as "scoring a few goals" is a little odd. Hes done something that its entirely likely we might never see in this league again

Fair enough, I just don't see how it's a bigger achievement than playing a leading part in your country's first qualification for a major tournament in 57 years.

i do personally but then i wasnt arguing for his inclusion at the expense of Bales.

personally think the whole thing is a joke myself, Murray will go on and win it no doubt :sleepy2:
