But why didnt Slade see what was happening? The changes they made? Thats why he needs to go, his changes were wrong and made no effort to play a different formation that would allow us to try and keep the ball a bit.

yeah thats the key spot on,we do it time and time again and im sorry to sound like a whinger but its the same usual suspects who are responsible

Spot on Annis!!

When are fans going to realise that it isn't all about the money (or lack of)? The manager can make a huge difference. DJ would have killed for the sort of backing Slade is having in a newly enhanced stadium.

It's time to stop the excuses. Today was as bad as it gets with the perfect timing for the opening goal, a second goal to put the game "safe", followed by collapse and an own goal as the icing on the cow pat. Unbelievable.

-Tan could not give a flying f**k about the club
-Without David Marshall in goal we'd be flirting with relegation
-We can't create any real threat except from set pieces
-Manga should be in the team ahead of Morrison
- We have absolutely no realistic prospect of promotion this season

1) The players aren't capable of the play offs, stop overestimating their ability
2) The same Whittingham who provided yet another assist
3) True, but would you give a f**k if you've basically been told to f**k off by the club's fans?
4) Maybe that's due to the lack of movement from the strikers? Numerous times Noone and Whittingham crossed to a near empty box because Kenwyne was still back on the halfway line
4) Morrison scored and cleared off the line today, Manga has been injured for most of the season
5) Yes, but I don't think that's been our aim at all this season

Simon , I disagree, other than most of Slades signings we had a top 2 team, but a mediocre manager

That's because we do still have a lot of quality players, just the wrong manager

Get rid now.

Bring in new manager

Top 6 can easily be achieved with games left.

Fair enough, but it's not that simple with Tan as our owner is it? Be realistic, who would you replace Slade with on a £120,000 a year wage?

We all know Tan isn't going to put anymore money in, that's been made obvious with Slade being forced to offload 16 players this season and only being allowed to bring 5 players in.

So who would you bring in to replace Slade on a similar wage who can do a better job than him?

I will look forward to your list of realistic potential replacements...

I have to say after tonight's game I have joined the slade out brigade, 2-0 up and to come away with only a point, if we are heading for promotion we should be in the top 8 at this point.

Never mind that, when was the last time we came back from two down?

Where as, you never have to go back far to see us throw away a two goal lead. This is the point, We regularly concede in the last 5-10 mins. We don't seem to have the nounce to be able to shut down a game when winning it. Or is it the belief, or just the balls :?: pick one or all of the above. very frustrating for the fans

To be fair I usually stay over for weekend matches and have a night out so it's more than just the football.

Re: ' THERE IS NO BELIEF '

Yesterday reminded me of when we seriously put the hammer down in the promotion season, cold dark games but what is missing is the buzz. There is no connection with the fans as Slade is seen as Tans pawn and Tan was with us in those days.
Tan is the only one who can solve this issue, but i guess we are still on business plan so it shouldn't warrant his intervention.

Re: ' THERE IS NO BELIEF '

Christ every week is the same
Slade has no chance with our know it all fans that so far after yesterday would have 5 or 6 different combination of subs hardly any agree on which combination have given no credit at all to be actually winning 2-0 and totally deserving to be agaisnt a side that spent big on a frontman and one of the favs to go up
we all think our team is top2 no top6 no mid table no some even thought relegation at the beginning of the season
and yet if Marshall who has been outstanding all season somehow managed to let a ball go through him for the first and the 2nd was comical we would have won been on the same pts as the side in 6th and just for me played some of the best football for a long time

our fans are a joke but it's the sign of the times WBA fans on the radio whinging about the football Pulis has brought
Sunderland fans the same crying about big Sam and his football and yet they are out of the bottom 3 and actually looking like they may survive

Re: ' THERE IS NO BELIEF '

Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:27 am

Also Watt looked good yesterday give us something we had been missing a big of pace not a lot but still also a big of skill and seemed to link ok with Noone and Jones
and yet after all the whinging saying another poor signing on the week and showing our clubs ambition etc he did well and yet no one saying or giving Slade any credit there
Nope we will wait and hope he does not score in his first 3 games and then all jump on the bandwagon slating him and Slade again

who the hell do we think we manage Cardiff at the mo if we actually sacked Slade at the mo with no money and being told to get rid of our high earners and do a better job
cos I can not think of anyone

Re: ' THERE IS NO BELIEF '

Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:35 am

Slade has to take some blame! He brought mancheda on in the 89th min! At 2-1 we should not be making that change! Another defender should have come on! Shut up shop and Close out the win! Situations like this when he does lack any managerial skills!

Agree and to be honest this is a strange thing to say but it's like Tan gave us the blue back and as a result punished us by giving us a poor manager with major cut backs.
Tan is the only one who can change all this but to me it seems like he's lost interest in us and that is shown by the lack of interest from the fans.
Get rid of slade should never of been manager in the first place.bring in a decent manager with one or two good signings and for Tan to come to games and maybe are fortune will change.

All Tan can do is make a statement of intent now problem is for lots of fans the damage is beyond repair.

Maybe ccfc needs a new owner either way this current state can't continue can it.

Totally agree with this, i am not a Slade fan and he has made some howlers previously. I have shot him down with others when deserved but he does not deserve the criticism for yesterdays game, it's unfair and he just cannot win.

Tom Watt looks promising and the majority of the game was a big improvement on previous. Mason i do not rate but he has been our main striker this season, bringing him on for the last 15 mins was the right thing to do when we were 2-0 up, i was also happy to see Macheda get a run out for the last couple of minutes. These substitutions did not lose us the game and if anything shows that Slade is at least trying to continue with attacking options. Christ a few weeks back fans were all moaning that we give up leads by dropping back into defensive rolls when ahead, now he's a dick for not bolstering up the defence, it's laughable.

Cant actually believe i am writing this but yesterday was unfortunate and the team as a whole crumbled under pressure, for me this one is not Slades fault.

Re: ' THERE IS NO BELIEF '

Biggest problem is you can buy a smaller PL club for about £125 million. But we are £140 million in debt, who would you buy ? We are a mid sized championship club with a dwindling fan base, we have a hard core of just 8k to 10k, a beet we bet would be league ine Sheffield Utd with an average 17k and a much bigger club than ours :bluebird:
