It's also down to a lack of concentration Ryan, I agree Slade shouldn't have made any changes though.

Am all for :sladeout: but today he had to replace watt and it wasn't slade who lost that. Burnley and dyche never give up hence recent results, they put us under and we buckled. Simple as that. I for one will be more than happy with performances like that every week where we tried to play.

Craig noone though, just can't beat a man.

City dominated the majority of the game, great to see some team spirit :ayatollah:

But it's just disappointing we let a comfortable 2-0 lead slip away so easily :(

This was a decision Slade should have made ages ago.

subs were needed as guner holding leg as comes off, jones in affective all game, watt looked knackered lack of game time! problem was wrong subs, we needed to shore up midfield and defence, but he failed to do this! also more damning is fact he didnt adapt to Burnley's change of formation with their subs? finally does Connelly hold record for own goals? seems like all own goals scored by city players are by him! ffs ball was going wide until he tried to jump over it instead of letting it hit him and clear it. but will say display good until last 10 mins. :old:

I would have taken a draw before the game but to let a 2 goal lead slip in the last 5 minutes makes a draw a very disappointing score. It is no good playing well only to throw it away in a short spell of time.

Totally agree

The key was how we kept the ball the last 25 mins.....

Oh wait we didnt, we time after time after time just hoofed the ball up, Jones gets crowded out, Burnley get the ball and come back at us time and again...

We played are best football WHEN WE DID NOT f*cking KEEP BOOTING IT UP TO KENWYN. So we did we go back to that? Try keep the ball and past it around the back, we looked excellant the first 20 mins.

Ralls roaming about, nice short passing. players doing one twos.

Then, we do to the end were we sit back and wait to take the ball up the arse

Steve Zodiak wrote:Disappointing to let a two goal lead slip, but a lot of us would have taken a point before the game. It's another point in the bag towards that 50 point marker. Twenty four more points required from twenty eight games, and I think that has to be the first target. I still think we are on target for a mid table finish which is where I firmly believed we would end up before the season began.

I would have been more than happy with a point at the start of the game but under the circumstances I'm very disappointed :o

During the last 15minutes all Burnley's attacks were down their right, with the winger dragging Malone inside and Whitts exposed and get slow. Slade needed to bring on Kennedy and play one up front with Whitts playing deep. How come Noddy couldn't see the obvious?

I don't think we'll be relegated this season.

Mid table as me & many others predicted

Logie, when we keep it down we actually look half decent like we did against Hull. Some decent football today

Changes had to be made as our players were looking tired but I agree unfortunately Slade made the wrong ones. Also a lack of concentration cost us today. To concede 2 goals so easily in such a short time of space is worrying :(

He would sacrifice whittingham for Dai Taxi and got a proper general in midfield. gone tight at the back and brought simmo on and replaced lee peltier
