For me the Quality was the difference today and Derby had that, we never simple, we've virtually got rid off all ours and we never go anywhere without it.

If we don't bring in quality players Coke Jan then crowds will disappear more

DERBY COUNTY 2 CARDIFF CITY 0

Marshall, Peltier, Malone, Morrison, Connolly, Whittingham, Ralls, Dikgacoi, Noone, Mason, Jones
Subs: Manga, John, Tamas, Moore, O'Keefe, Kennedy

Crowd 29,526

Over a 1,000 Cardiff fans travelled to Derby, in high hopes after City beating Reading convincingly and Derby losing to Forest.

City fans were in full voice and backing the team from the minute the team ran out :ayatollah:

With in minutes Marshall had to make a one handed save :ayatollah:
Then in the 10th min Marshall made another good save.
15th min Another good save by Marshall.

24th min Craig Noone had a shot straight at their goalie in a one on one and had time to take it,

City were playing counter attack football and did make a few good chances, but the quality up front was not there.

Just before half-time Marshall made another good save

Possession 79% Derby 21% City

Half-time Derby 0 City 0

Marshall mistake leads to a corner that Derby nearly scored from, if it weren't for Craig Noone clearing off the line in the 1st minute of the second half.

55th min a shot from Derby straight past Marshall 1-0 Derby

Marshall minutes later another save

62nd min Ameobi came on for Mason and we started to put some good attacks together :ayatollah:

75th min Derby shit saved by Marshall then shot from a rebound 2-0 Derby

My man of the match DAVID MARSHALL :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

FOR ME QUALITY AND FINISHING WAS THE DIFFERANCE

Up next Burnley home next Saturday :thumbright:

No frontline threat it a bloody annoying as our wage bill is massive

Wez Who do you blame ?
malky ,ole and slade but slade has had his hands tied but still we need strikers ,mason not good enough

Wez, You Blame Malky and Ole for City not having strikers? ? ?

Yes they are a good team Jon, but what today shows is how much the difference in quality between both teams and also they passed like a team, we passed like amateurs

Derby have spent £20 million to get where they are now ...... we are all about cost cutting
Our league position has flattered us in a mediocre championship division ..... we have had our go at the premiership and all Tan is doing is getting us in better shape off the field to sell the club

And it showed today, but we still have plenty of quality in our squad, just Slade either gives them away or does not know how to play them.

Totally agree Wez, Dave Jones had very little money compared to the last 3 managers, but was always able to put a decent strike force out on the pitch. Easy to blame Tan, but it's Slade who is dictating how we play. Totally predictable, no flare, no goal scorers and every single game, push Ameobi out there after 60 minutes

I think your dad is probably right.
The main problem besides the fact of losing is the utter boredom and uninspiring football in most games and for that there is only one person to blame and that's the manager.

Malky has been gone over 2 years,Ole over a year.

Slade has had well over a year to manage us, so yes he should take some blame, but the people at the top should also take some blame, Tan, Dalman and Choo run our club so they should take the blame as well.
