These same posters, have a go at Slade for not having pace or no goals, but back him to get rid of these type of players

Would the same Javi Guerra get the same amount of goals in a foreign country where he couldn't speak the language to communicate with his team mates? Adapting to the physical side of it along with the weather?
Having home comforts is going to make life a whole lot easier for him. This isn't a Slade thing

no he wouldnt get same amount goals but to some on here think championship is so piss poor that mickey mouse can score 20 goals a season in it! :laughing6:

If you look at the championship strikers who are presently on target to get well over 20 goals this season, maybe that mouse may get close to 20 goals.

If they have even a whiff of class they ain't welcome at our club. Slade and Young have inferiority complexes!

I don't doubt that but still the question remains, why didn't they play him when he was here? And why did Young publicly humiliate him and not do the same to others?

For having large contacts the club didn't want to honour? Or for the performance? Surely Young's mate Gabbidon was the worst performer that night. I was there, my opinion it was Gabbs

As a previous poster quite rightly said, madness to get rid of Guerra and Kim. There are others we could mention like Daehli and Adeyemi. Bonkers. I would have loved to have seen a partnership between KJ and Guerra this season.

do you believe Young was acting unprofessionally? You agree with me that Gabbs was not up to playing at that level, his legs had gone. He still played himself, Young was not strong enough to tell his mate he's past it, who'd do that to a mate eh?

That should have been the story of the night, Young managed to turn it into a complete farce in his interview.

We never gave him a chance, he is a quality striker and we threw all that money down the drain!!

The joys of having different opinions! I still agree with the departure of Guerra and Le Fondre (I wonder if he'll want to come back if we got promoted), but Declan John can count himself a bit unlucky, mainly because he is neither a top class winger or a fullback, but quite good at both. Unfortunately, there are 2 or 3 better fullbacks ahead of him at the club and 3 or 4 better wide players. He needs to specialise and improve at one position or the other, or his career will be forever in the lower leagues.

A player like him and we would be challenging, no doubts in my mind. Absolute quality.

Scored against old club Malaga, 1-0 H/T

Anyone with half a brain cell knows that the decision not to play him was nothing to do with his ability.

Tan done a deal to bring him here when we were still in the Prem and clearly wanted him off the wage bill.

By the same token it didn't sound like Guerra ever really wanted to come here once we were relegated.

It didn't bode well when Ole started mentioning how water tight the contract and he was our player was before the guy had even arrived.
