How do you know he didn't put enough effort into training? Were you there?

I know he didn't and that's straight from a players mouth ,he didn't want to be here he hated the weather and just thought he was too good for the championship

That's got nothing to do with not putting enough effort in to training
yes it does read my earlier posts too ,he just could be bothered to be here ,time to move on he's not our player anymore

No, He's just another player who wasn't given a fair chance, and it's only our loss...

If what Wez is saying is right, then why would he be given a chance?

I wish he was given a chance because the small amounts I saw of him he looked to have a touch of class about him, but before he came there were reports he didn't want to come due to relegation (sure OGS said something along the lines of there's no way he can get out of the contract)

Don't put the effort in you don't get played, simple as that.

The way he was handled in the media by Scott Young was bang out of order though.

Well I've heard quite the opposite and with what I've heard and fact that hes a proven goal scorer in one of the top Leagues in the World, thats enough for me to back him :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Its funny many players are saying similar stories about their time at Cardiff in recent years.[/quote

Haven't you heard from his Spanish mates though? Surely his mates would back him up rather than be negative about him?

Coming from a player would be more accurate IMO.

Massive shame either way because he looked a good player and is proving to be again

Truth of the matter is it didn't matter what you did in training. Some players was destined and singled out for transfer, and was treated accordingly. Lot of stories and rumors came out to back the club on these players leaving, and a lot of fans bought into it. Daehlie was, by far, the hardest training individual at the club. Marshall backed that up with saying he was the most committed player he had ever seen. Didn't help him much with Slade though..

The fact is Allen, Guerra didn't want to be here and the usual club knockers try and make something out of it all saying he was not given chance blah blah ,the management see these players every day the fans don't so I think they would have a better idea of there attitude around the club

Funny it's not so long ago Slade never rated him and Fabio was nearly on his way, thankfully his wages put other clubs off :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

good managers make allowances for talented players. Alex Ferguson admitted Cantona was treated differently to the other players, Slades man management skills can't handle talented players with more challenging personalities

So would comparing John Carew. But they did just the same for him at Aston Villa.. Like said above. Man management, if you missed it ;)

Guerra has an excellent scoring record, I have no doubts if Slade knew how to work with him we would of seen that. Or was his hands tied on selecting him...hmmmm :o

I've told you the reasons in this thread why he wasn't selected ,he was a bad moaning apple ,I don't blame the club at all for not playing him

That's just it the players who could and still will bring a fee will be put out there people seem to think certain players who have already gone didn't get a chance when maybe there wasn't given a chance because they was told to leave due to cost cutting or appearance fees we will never know. What we think is going on is the squad will be stripped of whatever brings money I assume that's how its going and why we got slades signings out on loan more or less ready for next season that's what I think. The cheap option and why we got slade to start with as hes doing whats asked so don't expect miracles.

I thought it was Tan who ordered Slade not to play him. Sure I heard that. Something to do with his agent.

Tan, did give orders for Slade to ship out many of the squad and thats what Im saying, it did not matter how good you were or even your attitude,Slade was brought in to reduce the wages drastically.
