these councils waste so much money it beggers belief. when Caerphilly council built a new council offices they bought a new table and chairs for meeting........Italian solid wood £30,000 ??? all these councils have their own HR, pay , finance and IT departments..........private companies in the uk use one central department for all these. Then you have parish councillors, local councillors, county councillors, AMs, plus their assistants and the 600 people who work at the senedd, then MPs and all their excess baggage, my god what a total waste of time and money. Large companies which generate more money than all our councils put together are run by a handful of people.

They shut and shutting loads of schools, libarys sports centre's by me and they got wages like that government wanna be ashamed of themselves !!

And honest now mate ive worked as a labourer (self employed) for a year and hit a bad depression due to life so quit my job im gonna do my cscs course in a couple of months and ive got to drive because ill be going to different sites daily. That's my honest situation im currently in im no benefit scrounger either. To add to this waste of public sector money, an Assistant Chief Police Officer claimed £55,000 in expenses when he was promoted and moved from Lincolnshire to Dyfed/Powys Police. In the same force,an office manager was paid £170,000 for 19 days work. A good job if you can get it. I understand certain expenses should be paid to help this guy move but he chose to leave Lincolnshire,no one forced him.

The reality is him leaving his job has probably made his depression worse. It's no fun being unemployed, skint, stuck in Tylorstown and unable to drive at 19.
