I've been told that Vincent Tan has contacted Dalman and Ken Choo today, to discuss the current situation with recent results.

Be interesting to see what comes of this, but my personal opinion is that nothing will come of this but I don't see them backing him in January unless they are in the top six.

We should have just done it at the end of last season and had a fresh start.

I don't think pride will stop Tan removing Slade. Whatever his ultimate reason was for doing it, he turned us back to blue, and that's a far bigger "egg on face" moment than getting rid of his own manager appointment. Much easier to distance himself from his initial comments about Slade too, and I suspect they'll go positive with statements about how Slade's job was to stabilise them, which he's done, and now they need to move forward with someone else, etc etc.

I'd like to see someone more experienced come in, but I'll be honest and say that this club NEEDS Bellamy in charge right now. He'll bring fans back based on his name alone (just imagine the local media!), and his footballing philosophy couldn't be any more different to Slade's. Ultimately, he'd bring a passion to the club, both from the stands, and restored within the club as a whole.

Inexperienced, but a man who ticks all boxes for trying to appease the fans and generate more income for the club.

He'll want assurances over his control of the team and transfers mind, saying that... :/

Let Trollope take over, he is respected by the players. Give him til end of season to see how he goes, if we bring in a new manager now he will want to bring in his own coaching staff, we need to keep Trollope .
