You're all acting like we're in the relegation zone and have a RIGHT to win every game and be in the top 6. The fact the "leaders" on this board are encouraging fans to go against Slade when things aren't actually THAT bad says it all. If Slade takes us to the play offs you will all be singing his name and turning up in double the numbers. We literally do have the worst fanbase in the world.

Beat Reading on Saturday and we're back in play off mix. Pipe down you bunch of fickle bastards.

Comparing football to cinema has got to be one of the most ridiculous analogies I've heard on here. We are football supporters, not customers. We pay to watch a game of football and support our local team. We have no right to demand better performances. Like I said before, this is Cardiff City, not Manchester United. Slade's target is deliver a top 6 finish and that is very realistic based on our league position.

I'll take your arguments seriously if we drop into the bottom half, as the lot of you seem to be more "clueless" than you're making Slade to be. :sladein:

I agree with you there shouldn't be a witch hunt and sacking the manager doesn't guarantee our form will get better.

However, we can't persist with this strategy of looking for a 0-0 draw and our inability to find the back of the net. The Chairman should take the lead here and call the manager in for a dressing down as the present situation will lead to problems with our league position if it continues.

Slade would then have nowhere to hide and would have to change his attitude and address the obvious problems with our team selection and tactics.

If he somehow takes us up then I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. But the football we play is not easy on the eye and Slade only changes players when he's forced to by injury or suspension it's boring to watch. Yes he won today but changing my view based on one game is ludicrous at won't happen if we improve in the way we play and are picking up results then I'll put :sladein: until then it's a firm :sladeout:

What about finishing 6th but failing in the play offs?

For me that would be massive improvement on last season and not worthy of the sack. I feel like our fans are impatient and want everything to work out right now but it will never be as easy as that.

I agree Slade was forced to make changes today but in no way can anyone say that today's match was "boring". We played very well.

Fair point. :thumbright:

Whitts getting banned seem to be a blessing and Slade is always going to pick Jones when fit, I just pray that Slade doesn't put Whitts straight back in the team as that would be just ridiclous. I also hope Slade starts to give Saadi the nod instead of Revell or even Mason, they've both had a very fair crack.

Re: FICKLE FANBASE

Not sure about Whittingham. We seem to get results when he is not playing, but to be fair, yesterday was the first time we've had a genuine championship quality striker in the team for a few games. May still have won if he had played yesterday, something we'll never know. A good win against a team that were higher than us, and it was important that we took 3 points yesterday however we got them. Does'nt matter that Reading had half their team out injured, or that Marshall was outstanding, the only thing that mattered was the result and that we beat what was put in front of us. Need to follow this up with a good performance next time out to show that we are able to compete with the best teams in this division.

Couldn't agree more according to most on this board Slade wasn't good enough from day one because he'd only managed in league one . Now the same people are clamouring for Bellamy who has no management experience?

No pattern of play
Tactically clueless
2 yrs of the most boring football ever
Being 7th shows the squad is good enough
Just need a decent manager

Say what you like but I am stating a fact. The dire football is having a detromental effect on our attendances, Fans are staying away. You can say what you feel a fan should be like but I am saying it how it is. Rightly or wrongly this is what is happening.
