Who would you replace Slade with Annis?
Who can we realistically bring in on a low wage to work for our crackpot owner?
Who else on a low wage can improve our current squad with no backing in the transfer market?
Ross, Tan won't put a real manager in, he likes to control them, so Tan will never replace him with much better
So in that case, do you think it's worth the risk sacking Slade?
When we have most of our injured players back, we should improve.
We beat Middlesbrough recently and we shouldn't be in any danger of relegation under Slade.
We have to be realistic and appreciate with Tan's cost cutting, we're going to have bad games like tonight.

There's much better out there the question is who would want to work for tanand more importantly how much is tan willing to spend on a manager plus transfer come January as that's what any new man will want
Slade hasn't had that this season so it will be interesting if he does get axed

Cost cutting is appreciated, but the boring predictability of Cardiff isn't to do with money.
No plan B
We have shite in our first team squad while
Kennedy, osullivan, Healy etc get no opportunity at all.
So in essence we are still wasting money on crap.

The thing is people are paying their hard earned money to watch what slade is producing and it's not value for money it's terrible to watch, the longer slade stays the worse the crowds will get and the club will end up with lesser crowds than we are getting now. As the old saying "you've got to spend money, to make money " couldn't be more appropriate for the club now

Well a man can only take so much stupidity!
Seriously I wasn't pro Slade more give him a chance man, but to have no attacking intent against a poor Leeds is ridiculous

Spot on Allan. Better with interim management than incompetence.

Not sure what youre prattling on about... what exactly has slade achieved?
Wed Nov 04, 2015 7:41 am
2 options for me!
Give Bellamy an nterim role like swansea did with monk until end of season! He's played and worked with the best, would certainly add pride and passion to our play!
Or take a look at JFH doing really well with burton at moment, again has worked with some top people, plays good football and at burton is probably not on much different to Slade!

Great experience at this level and a strong manager but it's unlikely to happen under Tan.

Ross,
Slade will prob keep us up.
But his dire football has lately got worse than dire, does not help to have players like Fabio out,but its not to long ago Slade would not even give players like Fabio a chance.
We have a big squad,so I dont accept this is all down to injuries.
For me,from day one Ive said Slade is not good enough to be a Championship manager that will ever take our club anywhere.
He is cheap and does what his master says.
If Slade is sacked, will Tan look for another puppet?

He takes no risks, he changes nothing, he even went cautious against a Struggling Bristol at home. I will say it again, he has done a decent job and steadied everything but this year he was asked to take us forward and he can't. Granted limited funds but not tried things or changed things, it's not easy and one only has to look at the table to see Bolton and Forest continuing to struggle as a reminder but fans also want some entertainment. Our best performance was against Hull, we were applauded it off in defeat. Time for a change

Has to be Pearson
Wed Nov 04, 2015 9:04 am
Nigel Pearson would get these boys shipshape and playing good football.
He's a no nonsense character, but Tan wouldn't go for him
Wed Nov 04, 2015 9:10 am
Tan would rather promote Scott "I scored that goal against Leeds" Young to manager rather than bring in somebody decent.

I have never been one to push for Slade to be sacked, but after the last couple of games,we are just not getting anywhere. I still love going to the games but want a bit more passion, drive, pace and entertainment for my money. I still think we have a good enough squad, but can't understand why Doyle is out on loan and Revell is still here. I'm not saying Doyle is the answer but at least he looks like scoring which Revell doesn't offer. We need to be more flexible in the way the team is set out so if a team is playing 4,5,1, we change to match it instead of the rigid 4,4,2. I know it's early days but if this style of football carries on, I don't know if I will renew my season ticket. I can't understand how we played so well against Hull and lost, and have dropped to such a poor standard of football, Preston first half was one of the worst performances I've seen for a long time.

Be careful what you wish for Annis. It's alright spouting out about Tan must go, but unless anyone comes up with a realistic set of circumstances that a new owner comes in, then such comments can only do more harm than good. Tan, isn't the problem here, it's the deficiencies of the current manager. Tan brought him in, but that was to steady the ship, cut wages and not to go on spending, he's done that and it's plain to see will not take us from here. Tan, now has take the next step and bring in a manager who has more about him and has seen it and done it. I don't believe Tan will break the bank on this, so personally I would go for someone like Phil Brown

Gary Rowett for me, although he wouldn't want to come here as he's doing well where he is.
Failing that, JFH would be my choice.
Wed Nov 04, 2015 10:30 am
The alternative is simple Ross, let Slade go put Trollope in temporary charge until the end of the season and evaluate from there. End of the day Dictator Tan has too much money invested in the club to simply turn away and let us slide down the divisions. Does he even know the full picture or the dwindling attendances?

Id go for this scenario too, & I think its is a realistic one, given the current circumstances. Uwe Rossler is another realistic prospect, as is JFH, I would have thought.
Total non runners are Stuart Pearson, due the the reasons that he resigned from Leicester City, Dave Jones, who would want to much money (again), & any other manager that has previously, & very recently, managed in the Premiership,,,for the same reasons as DJ!

How about Ian Holloway he's got spunk in him
