100% Not even play offs

How many losses ,how many conceded goals in those eight games
Strange you don't rate our manager but expect him to win mojority of games hmmmmm :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

And what position are we Steve after all that?

n
8th ? just offf playoffs

We were 8th, now 9th. We were briefly in the top two, then the play offs, and now heading towards mid table. Which ever way you look at it, we are heading in the wrong direction, and 10 points from the last 24 on offer is not promotion form.

yes and at end season we will be relegated on that basis? but if win tues all change! :thumbright:

32 games left and another 28 points should see us safe. I am confident we have the manager and players to keep us in this division. Personally I don't think there is any chance of relegation, but I also don't think there is any chance of promotion either. If we are playing in this division next season, Slade will have done his job.

Revell Needs to be dropped and Jones has to start.

Correct Revell is not Championship level, like Slades other striker he signed Doyle

Annis, what level was the best manager we have had in the last 50 years Malky Mackay signing Andreas Cornelius?

Million dollar question or 12 million pound question I suppose is would Slade get us all that with a 12 million transfer budget and big wage budget?

Sadly (or happily as far as debt goes) we will never know.

Malky achieved with Virtually No money and had to make a new team, got us Play offs and a League Cup Final :ayatollah:

Some people won't believe in Slade unless we get promoted. We are missing up front but what options does Slade have ? Maybe change formation to 4,3, 3, but main thing is, if you can't win a game don't lose it.

He had a big wage budget so was able to bring in lots of free transfer Bosman signings. He kept the backbone of a good DJ team. Such a pity DJ didn't have 12 million pounds to spend on players. Really think we would be an established Prem team by now.

DJ had Bothroyd, Chopra, Bellamy and a few others but still could not get us over the finishing line.

Had to sell best player each year. Bought Bothroyd 300k, Chopra 500k, Marshall 300k, Hudson 500k. Imagine if he had the money Malky had?

Malky had to start from scratch without about 7 players, if you can't acknowledge his achievements then I am totally wasting my time debating with you Neil

Of course I acknowledge his achievements. There are many who have had large budgets in the championship yet not gone up. However in my opinion you overstate his achievements. DJ took us to the FA cup final with a far smaller budget. That was an incredible achievement.

That's down to slade not signing good enough players just think if didn't sign okeefe, revell and tamas he could of got a better quality striker using those wages, slade has gone the route of quantity over quality

How do I overstate Malkys achievents?

In less than 3 years Malky got us to the play-offs, Wembley Cup Final, runaway champions of the championship first time in our history, one of the best home records of all time, first and only ever manager to take us to the Premier League, our first promotion to the top tier in 51 years, never in the bottom 3 in the Premier League, was given money and told take us up and achieved what he was asked to do.

Thanks to the clown of the owner, we will never know if Malky would have kept us up ?

But we do know thanks to the clown we got relegated.

I rest my case and I've given you all facts, plus yes Malky made mistakes, but brought more revenue in than he wasted and we are still receiving the money :thumbright: :thumbright:
