FFS people just like to f**king moan.

Yes the price of watching modern day football is too expensive and a lot of genuine people can't afford it and some go when they can afford it because they want to support their team.

But a lot are still carrying a lot of baggage and use it as an excuse not to go.

Either support the team or don't. It's simple really! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What must we do to improve crowds & atmosphere?

Monday is a massive game so get down the CCS & support the boys with Pride :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Mason, Our club had a meeting with the Supporters months ago and a few weeks ago and promised different ideas, but once again all talk, No action.

Lets let All kids in for a £1 with a paying adult, We have 20,000 empty seats and a stadium with No atmosphere.

So what has come of these meetings then. It seems the ideas have been swept under tans red carpet

The club want fans back in the media one week then do nothing to get them back after meeting upon meetings so they get what they deserve imo. Stupidity springs to mind.

The club had hosted the meeting, the club wasn't instructed anything in terms of pricing or anything, the club backed whatever the fans set up as an idea. WE are the ones that need to help the club bring the fans back because at the moment we're not doing anything

When will people learn and not get carried away with our recent years of success?
Our crowds prior to the FA Cup were 12-14k , only recent success, the FA cup tickets and the price freeze bribe has brought more fans along for the ride.
We are simply back where we were prior to 2008..... Back to reality.
People on forums, Facebook etc are probably still going to games, so no point bitching on here. Success brings fans. Simple.

The atmosphere meeting was held by CCSC is it not though? What did the supporters group meetings send to the club which differed from the atmosphere?

IMO THESE ARE THE REASONS WE HAVE SLIPPED BACKWARDS.
1/ After effects of the re brand
2/ Less than entertaining football being dished up by Mr Slade
3/ The club insistence on destroying any atmosphere in our Stadium.
4/ Where we all used to stand shout dance and make a racket many supporters now like to sit, drink coffee, ask who has the milk and sugar, eat Mars Bars, drink Coca Cola, read the Match Programmes, just like the bunch sat behind me last night :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

The 13K attending this season are the faithful who'll turn up game after game. The 10k or so missing are the glory hunters who will only come if we're playing entertaining football and winning and pushing for automatic promotion and I can't see that happening under Slade.

Will have to 100% disagree with that. I have been a season ticket holder for 16 seasons, but didn't renew. There are personal reasons behind this as i'm sure a lot of City fans have the same issues, yet I have been down the stadium 3 times this season,

The cost of a season ticket along with overpriced food and drink has taken its toll,

I know fans who stopped going after the rebrand and now in the habit of not going.

I talk to fans who say the buzz has gone, the atmosphere being number one reason for not going.

Nothing worse than watching a boring game in the cold with an atmosphere a library would be proud of, at least years ago if the game was shit, the atmosphere could be half decent.

Until they swap the ends, I can't see the atmosphere improving... you need to hear each other to banter

Re: ' SOMETHING MUST CHANGE ASAP/CCFC FANS? '

Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:16 am

i will give you my perspective as why i havent been since the re-brand.

1. the main reason money....fans with money or season tickets, especially on this forum always say "its a special offer" or its cheap enough for the ticket, there should be no excuse, well, for those of us, who cant afford a season ticket, we have to pick and choose our games, the problem is, when you pick your game, you pay for transport, food, drink etc, which before a ticket is bought is already expensive and it becomes quite a lot of money for a big day out somewhere with no atmosphere. also when you take family, who are 18 or over you end up paying full adult price ticket for all members.

2. the atmosphere, I KNOW ITS NOT NINIAN PARK, but let me give you an example, i went up to cardiff, not sure the game, urm, just before the rebrand was unvield. i was in the canton end, down towards the front, a steward told me to sit down or get out, i said, this is the area i was told to go to if i want to stand, to which i was told, if i didnt shut up, i wouldnt be allowed back again...... i continued to stand, and fans around me, then asked not to stand, as they where trying to sit down behind me, and kept moaning and even complained when me and a friend tried to get a chant going.

3. tan - everyone will not turn on me saying i am being stubborn, tan has done the right thing changing our badge AGAIN, and going BACK TO BLUE, which is shocking to say the least, considering we should never have changed before, things he has said and done have gotten to the point where frankly, im sick of being told you have to forgive him, you have to move on.

4. slade - i like slade, hes an honest man. the problem i got is, right now we are going backwards, i dont mean hes a bad manager or anything, i mean we are playing a basic 442, if we DO get promoted, a basic 442 would be destoryed in the premiership as we have seen countless times. i feel he was brought in under-false pretenses, we was told he is the right man for the job, when in reality he was brought in to keep us in the league whilst offloading as many as he could, deflecting any sort of dislike from tan to slade. any owner who wanted to "cut costs" whislts still trying to achieve something would of hired a manager who has the freedom to build a philosphy, develop the youth players etc, the fact slade doesnt put any youth in his line ups is evidence he knows he cannot afford a single gamble with this job.

all 4 have effected my love relationship with the club, will i go back ? after such a long hiatus, i dont feel that buzz no more, i keep an eye out for the result but dont feel that love, i will pick and chose a game this year and see if i get that buzz back but money is always the biggest issue for me, why spend soo much for 1 game when i could buy food or something more important.

A lot on here who are not attending say it's prices of season tickets. I agree with that it is very expensive. It is unfair to lower them now because the current season ticket holders will have paid full price.

Next season, the prices of season tickets should be significantly decreased and I'm sure many supporters will return.
More will attend and I'm sure the overall income of season tickets will be higher due to more being purchased.

The club should address that immediately next season. :thumbright:
