Honestly though, who's guna stand in the ground and pay £3.50 a pint for 2.5 hours before the game when there are pubs in canton?
Try £4.00 a pint

The usual 15 plus of us will be staying in the Sand Martin as usual, cheaper drink, better food and 100% more comfort and relaxing.
I will be arriving at 245pm as usual![]()
City can't believe that the fans will rush back with this statement.
We are acting like a franchise club and would not be out of place in America,we want football stadium with an atmosphere
Nash and stewards to treat fans better that would be a start![]()
I thought you could only drink in the Sand Martin if you also bought a meal ? If that's the case that's a hell of an expensive pint or two![]()

The club was criticised for getting in this mess, quite rightly. Let's not dismiss these attempts to rectify the problem they now admit they created, arguably this is just as important to get right as the kit colour![]()

I think you have actually raised a very important point in your post, perhaps without realising it.
The club, and in particular it's owner, have NEVER admitted they got it wrong.
Where in any club statement have you seen acknowledgement that they got the rebrand, which has alienated so many fans and contributed to the current financial crisis of greatly reduced attendances, badly wrong and apologised for it? I cannot recall seeing anywhere the owner or one of the directors saying something along the lines of " sorry,we got that badly wrong,we have learned from our mistakes which won't be repeated , now will the fans work with us to help repair the damage we have caused as quickly as possible"
It is all very well and good ( and to be applauded) that efforts are now being made to treat fans with a bit of respect rather than contempt, but where is the apology? I have made this point before but if someone who has been giving you a good kicking without any reason for a long time then stops, you are hardly likely to regard him as a mate for ages, if ever. Particularly when that person won't even admit what he did was wrong or apologise.
